ID of Using essence

Hi guys, I have this Idea or suggestion to DSO game developer , would it be much more interesting and challenging if they put a color coding when using essence in PVP or in PVE ,. The type of essence your using will reflect to the projectile when you attack.. like when you use green essence the projectile of your arrow, fireball, lighting will also be green.. I don’t know how would it be for Dk=) but im sure they think of something.. I want this to happen because I want to know whos using what..^^ last time I join this PT in mortis we all agree to use red essence .. guest what, epic fail.. someone is not using what we agree up0n.. and also this would be much more interesting in PVP=).. pls feel free to comment and suggest.. by the way this is may 1sttime to post..and aslo pls excuse my english^^

This was suggested many times before, here, but in vain.
In the matter of fact ... long time ago we could identify if player was using essences by aura of his skills or hits. But it was removed from the game by devs.

 

Yeah, it was removed. I have a good guess why they did that - their highest spending customers didn't like their victims knowing that they were using reds to annihilate them.

They could at least put it in for PvE, to keep group members honest.

Hmmm... well, it was active during the open beta. That was a long while ago. They either disabled it during the open beta or shortly after the game was officially released - I'm not 100% sure. I'm pretty sure that it has been more than one year since it's been active. It may have been 1.5 or 2 years ago that it was deactivated. Sorry I can't be more precise on the time - I didn't really make a mental note of when they stopped showing the aura.

Also, I should make it clear that with the old system you could only tell if the person was using no essence, or some kind of essence, not the type being used. Though, it would be easy enough to change the color of the aura in the code, I would think, if they started to use this system again... (I think there's almost no chance for it in PvP - they like to please their big spenders - but maybe in PvE if we ask very nicely... a lot of asking, over a long period of time ).

Edit - Actually, when you think about it, having this in PvE would probably increase profits. People who lie about what essence they have equipped would be kicked from groups and would have to buy the essences to be able to participate.

 

I cant remember which year but it was long time ago the early days of the game if I remember right but the essences were ellemental and mobs had weaknes or strength against them

 

Not only against monsters ... it was in effect in the arena too.
And the aura had no impact on essences strength.

 

I couldn't recall for pvp but I was sure for the mobs

 

I have already posted this idea and it was sent to BP.

 

This idea is old since the moment they took out the auras.
You said it was sent to BP, may I ask you how do you know it was sent?
