Pfff (hands a box of Kleenex tissues to posters). I wouldn't bother to search for morality, code of war, chivalry, or anything close to 'fair'. If the game mechanics and developers allow it in PVP, then it is fine. I personally never buff in PVP. But that is a personal choice. I do however use Health Pots in 5v5. I readily state this as fact and I couldn't care less if you think it fair or not fair. Heck, if I could put a banana peel on the ground and make you slip and trip, I would in a heart beat. If I could throw sand in your eyes, I would. My point is that you need to understand how and when Health Pots are being used by your opponent. I'll tell you something. I have a very sturdy Ranger. My level 40 skill is specifically set so that I take my health down low to gain the speed bonus and that is when I recharge my Health. That is a specific tactic that is reliant on my health being low, location on map, and cooldown. If you are paying attention, you could easily take me out right when I'm about to gain my speed bonus. Starve the opponent by taking the health orbs even when you don't desperately need them. If you want to stop a 17k HP flag runner, you're going to need to work as a team.

I always grab the health orbs and other buffs if no other teammates are around (and need them) in order to play keep away.

My DK mostly used greens and occasionally used the 3568 hp pots, but started uding blues last month. Yesterday was interesting, as I started getting a lot of the badges for damage and kills (ruthless, most flag runners killed, etc) and winning quite a few more matches than I expected.
