Announcement International forums will be closed soon

    Dear Players,

    We would hereby like to inform you that by Mid-September we will be closing our forums in the following languages: Spanish, Russian, Czech & Slovak, Polish, Italian, Turkish, and Hungarian. Instead, these users will be redirected to the English forum. We have already set-up an international section within the English forum for the following languages:
    If there is a demand for other languages we can also add more sections. These international sections will still be moderated by a small native-speaking moderator team, however outside the international sections the language to be used is English. Only in these international sections the local language can be used. In the coming days we will copy some relevant content from the languages forums to the languages sections in the international area.

    The reason we have decided to stop offering separate language forums are multifarious. Each forum we operate requires a lot of work on both the technological side and also maintaining the content on the forums and translating this to the developers. While we will increase our efforts to our social media channels we also realize that the forums are important so this is why we will keep a extended English forum with a international section.​

    Despite those forums going to get closed our players can of course still play the game in their preferred localized version and we will also continue to update and translate the News section and Update section in Drakensang Online.​

    We will also maintain and even increase a focus on our social media channels. If you are not already following these channels then click below to follow them and stay tuned on what is going on in Drakensang Online:

    Before we concluded to stop offering a complete local forum, we carefully examined the activity and looked at the number of active forum users. The reason why we decided to discontinue the mentioned language forums is because we noticed a substantial drop in the number of users that actually use those forums.

    We thank all our forum users and our moderators for their use of the forums and we look forward welcoming them on this English forum soon.
