When you enter on different map (example Winter Summit to Kranparus Liar) in Iron Dwarf Mode (with option Full Steam Ahead) you lose Iron Dwarf Mode + you have 0 steam.

That's because of how the skill buffs are working. They are removed when changing the map. Think ranger's adrenaline, or dragon hide of DK. All of them are working the same way, just the problem here is that it's not giving the steam back... which is probably not a bug, but rather a completly unthought (by the devs) aspect (for 5 years or so...).

Removing robot mode when changing map is normal, but starting on new map with 0 steam is not normal. They could just add option to stop robot mode,or something else in 5 years.I personaly just switch run in robot mode from winter summit to kranparus liar,it seems to be better

Correct, and at the same time, HP and resources are maintained when changing maps, so that explains the zero steam.

Wrong. It is totally normal. See above. It is just like switching maps when your HP is at 50% and having 50% HP when you get into the next map.

Basically, these are two things working as intended, but with an undesirable consequence. Moral of the story, don't use Iron Dwarf immediately before switching areas.

1.With option Full Steam Ahead I should have back all my steam (or I miss something in translation?!)

2.You clearly do not play like dwarf, but for your information I use Iron Dwarf in the beginning of map (and have 12sec duration on the end of map; and it is annoying to wait 12sec,or enter with 0 steam so I can not use steam conductor),so I just switch using Iron Dwarf to second map because going to city I have full steam back.

This comes from the travel stones (and thus also the universal map) recovering your hp and resource everytime you use them.

You get full steam back when the skill runs out. The skill doesn't run out when you change maps; it disappears.

So use a mount. It should be just about as fast, but without the negative side effects to your steam.

It is unlikely these will change because they're not bugs. So it is in your best interest to plan accordingly.

No, I don't play my SM too often (but I do have one), but every top tier SM I know ignores the Iron Dwarf skill... it really isn't that good.

But if skill run out it disappears also, so with first disappearing I got steam and with second I don't……. ( but don't bother with my philosophy )

It is impossible to stay on mount all the time. So I changed using Iron Dwarf from Winter summit to Kranparus liar, and it is even better( immune to slow )

    1.I am not top SM
2.I use all skills (depending on witch map I play)
3.I will still use Iron Dwarf on q8

It's true that it's uncommon to see the high-end SMs using Iron Dwarf... but it doesn't mean that it's bad nor that no top players are using it. In fact it is of great use everytime one has to enter the tank mode or run past monsters.
