Hi, ok, I need some of your tech heads to work this out for me. I don't want the exact formula unless you have it.. more a general explanation for something...

Say for instance the armour %: Say, I had 1000 armour, and that works out to be 70% reduction of physical damage from attackers at level 15. Let's imagine, I stay Level 15 to make it easier.

I want to purchase gems to take me to 80%. So, if 70% = 1000, then 80% should be 1000/70*80, which is about 1150 (1142...) . However that doesn't work at all. It gave me about half a percent to 70.5... so how does that make any sense..? Then I bought another 500 worth of gems, taking me 1500, and I am still only on 74.5%....

How does that work? Damage appears to be the same. And then, of course, once you level up, your percentages drop again...

The armour % increase isn't linear. The higher your armour is, the more armour you will have to gain to have a difference in %s.

You can use http://drakensang.optimizer.free.fr/ to simulate your stats and see what the %s would look like, although I have never tried it on lower levels so I wouldn't know if it works on them. If it doesn't, then I am sure someone will come around with the formula for level 15, so just wait for that person :p

Here is the EN Wiki that describes the formulas and is based off of my old work on the old forums.

As it says, the function for the constant has not been thoroughly explored (mostly due to a lack of data), but you can calculate it for your level knowing an armor amount and reduction to work backwards.

Crit Rate and Resistance follow the same equation, as do block rate and block amount with slight modifications to the constant (factors of 1/2 and 1/4).
