Lag

Probably it has been deleted accidentally due to enormous amount of spamming messages.

Honestly, i think the majority of what the BP team does is pretty good, additionally i have posted topics before on the current lag situations. I have done the ping tests its a B+ score and speed test and cleaned cache etc. I dont have a fantastic connection only about 6mb, but the vast majority of the time it is enough to get things done. However, you probably know i am on the same server as laxerious/stark597 and skylin. When we lag at similar times that would suggests that it is not our connection. Honestly, some updates/patches etc lag more than others.

I hope the fantastic tech team at BP can look deeper into its setups or whatever the server people do and try and fomulate a plan to address this problem that effects everyone in a hope to bring a superior gaming experience

i have very little issue's with lag and i play on tegan from the UK, with a Below avg computer spec
you might not know this but windows can update without warning, if my P3 1GB-ram windows xp computer can play without lag something is up. you all no doubt use vista or a supported version of windows.

If the servers have lag when you follow the direction listed by Allog will correct it or see what a person needs to fix. BigPoint is not responsible for your computer. They explain what you need to run the game. People that buy a Electronic Arts game for their Xbox don't call EA when the have a problem they call Xbox. BigPoint is responsible for their servers only as it states in the TS. We the gamers are responsible for our systems and if we need to verify we have done everything on our part to insure we have eliminated the lag on our end, then you can rest assured that BigPoint does fix stuff. I also think that there are a verity of software running in the backgrounds of a lot of computers and the people that run the same programs could all be experiencing the same lag.

since R146 and it's hotfix. i am having major problems connecting to server via browser and thin client which shuts down automatically. when i do get connected at character windows it takes 10seconds for it to loads and then to connection to server it keep saying connection failed with retry button. now when i do iget on the server it takes 30 second to display the town i'm in and 5 mins before i can play the game. please look into this SXMwizard LvL45 SW Agathon server. and it's not my pc cause my other online games play fine without any problems.

 

The server is very lag in Tegan. If you have a character in other servers like "Heredur" give it a walk test guys it was different.

Which i experience below,

1. In a Group Parallel run.
2. In a Group (Walking close to players cause rubber band effect).
3. Alone Farming.
4. In PVP
5. Selling Items (Sometimes)
6. Picking up Items (Sometimes)
7. -Press "C" open character tabs. (Walking around will make it worst)
-Compare with Press "I" inventory has no lag.

Tell me your experience guys.

I have friends in Tegan who even worst. Might be cause of lower spec PC, or slower internet speed, or instance on different country.

I have a new PC bought last November. The spec is good. My Internet speed can boost up to 10mbs to 50mbs.

 

I don't know where you come from. If your ISP's internet route of connecting US is by way of APCN2. It broke down these days. This is bad news for some Asian country players. Just have your patience and pray.
