Legendary Treasure Chest

Yesterday I was farming Temple sector and I was looking for a Legendary Treasure Chest to open. I have opened the second chest (the one middle left on the map) and what a surprise ... no it was not Jack Pot ... the chest gave me: one legendary item, two gemstones, one universal healing potion, one white item and around 300 Essence of Combat.
Now ... we all know that Legendary item and Essences of Destruction are Guaranteed.
So where are my red (orange) essences???
I feel I have spent 100 lockpicks in vain.
Any thoughts? Have someone else experienced this issue?

Seriously? You didn't get the red essence? Is that what was missing?

 

Yup, and I think it's a bug. There should always be red essences in there.

 

It was more of a rhetorical question. I've always had res ess in my chests. And please don't say it's a bug.....not another bug. C'mon....

I have stopped opening legendary chests 3 or 4 months ago, because they reduced the amount of red ess.
Before i would get around 450/690 and now i get around 215/390.

Its simply not worth to open a legendary chest, even if you farm for lockpicks(LP).
I'm saving my LP for the day, when the dev team creates a new chest that contains a unique item.
Until then they stay i my locker....I don't believe in free AM, for me its just a publicity stunt and nothing more.

 

i have used over 1000 keys so far and got no jackpot or anything good its alll useless do not buy keys!!!!

 

I'm hanging on to my keys for one of those 'oops' days. Surely there will be a map or event that has a bugged chest.

I can't even collect 100 lockpicks anymore. I was collecting those 100 lockpicks ... for months.

 

lockpicks are hard to find unless u buy them and like i said i bought over 1000 keys and got allll garbage saddly i been finding better purple gear then my legendary gear that i got from 100 key chests... so to everyone... do NOT buy keys...

its against the BP playing rules to misuse a bug.
Imagine if there was a bug giving 1000 ander per chest and you only had to open it once and everytime you click on it again you get 1000 ander then you go and spend your millions of ander buying the biggest possible gems then you go to arena and kill all players who didnt have the bug but did spend real money to play , get my point its in the agreements somewhere that you agreed on and it give BP the right to close your acc if you misuse a bug

 

Yes this is very true. One day I opened a chest and the someone else opened the same chest. I was thinking I heard wrong then the next chest they opened and said lock pick but I could open it. I chose not to...why? I did not want to be banned. Truth is they changed the shabby chests. Before that day only 1 person per group could open a chest. After an update they did not release the info that all chests are now opened by everyone in the group...

 

Well, if the Legendary was great, then it'd balance out a bit . But yeah, way for them to make you sorry for having spent 100 LP... as they're indeed one of the slowest things to gather.

 

Cant we all just play nice and get along?

 

We, as players, can. It seems to be players vs DSO most of the time. And upon entering battle...our armor seems to always be broken.

As far as the leg chest is concerned, I ignored my gut and opened one. I was quite pleased with the results. Let's face it, will it EVER be enough? Of course not. We're greedy humans. But over 500 reds, 1 leg item, 1 extra, 2 blues, and 3 gems (I think a few things I'm forgetting) I can't complain. Better than a year ago.
