Level 30+ character is now level 14?

I haven't played Drakensang in perhaps a few months, and when I left, my only character on my account at that time, a ranger, had been leveled to I think at least 30. I come back, and my ranger is back to 14 in Kingshill (I'm pretty sure that the last place my character was at was in a higher level camp-like city by the ogres) with the low level items I used to have and the low pvp rank. I played this character on and off for a few years now and have never had this issue. I recently started a new character (the new engineer-like class) on this account because I was so frustrated at having more than half of all my progress on my first character being lost, but I still really would wish that my ranger character be reverted to its highest progress with all of my items, skills, rank, and level. I know that I can have a bad memory at times, but there's no way that I imagined going through all of those snowy, dead-like, and forest-like maps and dungeons which I no longer have access to. I also vividly remember my higher ranger skills, character and rank points, and red clothing.

Is there any way to fix this? Am I the only person this has happened to?

I did just send an inquiry to Support about this, but I'm still curious if any of you have had the same problem, know why it might have happened, or can guess whether or not it can be fixed.

 

Check if proper server is selected.
Search all servers (first the ones with green check mark) I am sure you will find your character there.
