I just got a legendary lvl 31 golden ring and I want to know is it worth identifying. I have only 350 cot and the ring costs 850. What should I do?

Find more cots if you want to ID it. I probably wouldn't, though. Cots will become much more valuable when you approach end-game level.

If you do not buy cots and can wait, do not bother identifying. Save your cots for end game items, you are going to need them.

Thank you for your answers. I will then sell it.

Another question... I was lucky today and got an unique level 30 ring, its named "Rune Stone Ring", it gives +175 critical hit value, cost 700 CoT, is it worth identifying?

You should better save up your CoT. this ring is not worth at all in my opinion

Dragonscale: The most effective strategy for a free, or nearly free player is to get by with the minimum quality type of gear you can have until level 43-45. This means blue gear, and sometimes purple gear. Purple gear works best on the left side, with blue armor on the right. Then save as much CoTs, Andermant and Gold as you can until you reach level 43-45. You can use your glyphs to upgrade equipment you have, just remember to be sure and melt that equipment, don't sell it, so you can get those glyphs back. Glyphs will also become extremely important when you reach level 45.

Also, you may want to consider melting that legendary ring rather than selling it, unless you really need the silver. Glyphs are generally harder to build up than coin. A few green rings/necklaces will give the same amount of silver as that legendary ring. That is not the case with glyphs.

I am now at level 22 in knowledge, and I really need gold to get next level. That leg ring was worth about 3000 glyphs, it isn't much, and I got 40 silver when I sold it. I have already about 40 K glyphs in my items. My weapon and shield are purple, also my amulet, and most of the right side armor. I will now melt that rune ring and try to collect as much glyphs and silver as possible.

And thank you for your answers, yamahamm and Multi-Sev.

Sorry for this terribly late reply. I haven't been checking out the forums as actively for quite some while. It is better to melt all items that are magic+ and unidentified (especially if you are a f2p). Gears such as amulet and ring sell for more, so sell their green versions.

Better is melting it... Glyphs are the gift that keeps on giving in this game.

    P.S.
3k Glyphs... definitely more valuable than 40 silver. At LVL 45, 40 silver is 4 unidentified green rings which would be equal to only 400 glyphs. Also, 40k invested in your gear is nice, but at end game, people invest millions. I have one item that has over 2 Million glyphs in it. Gold comes slow and steady, especially with the quest line and eventually, you barely need it. However, glyphs are something you will always want more of and they build much slower.
