    Hi Jmie,

Welcome to DSO. The Community is really friendly and likes to help out but be warned we will give you a bit of tough-love. So here goes it, at level 31, you really are not ready for this discussion. You still have much to learn that can't be condensed into a single forum reply. On top of that, the learning you do need occurs best in groups by observation.

I guess the thing that stands out in your request is the word 'alone'. If you want to do all of this content alone including tanking on Mortis and Khaly, you're going to need to buckle in for a very long character build. It also means you have much to learn. Even if you made your toon level 45 in the next four or five days of a hard push, your PVP bonuses would not be in place. So building the OP Ranger you want involves investing a ton of time not only on PVE but PVP otherwise your results will be lack luster.

On top of that, by the time you got to 45 and make your character strong enough, level 50 content would be available. I advise you play in groups until then and when you have a teammate in your group that seems OP, whisper to them for some advice. You'll build a group of friends and you'll be asking for build help from players you admire versus this overly ambitious vague request for a build template.

Now, if you want to dismiss all of this advise and go it alone, you certainly can.

    Good Luck,

Treg's, always impressive advise. You missed your calling as a high school guidance councilor:D

Jmie, there are several impressive builds in the "showcase your ranger" thread if you're just looking for numbers to compare to.

One addition ill offer, don't try to build a Ranger that can solo those bosses. Although being able to solo the game is a good individual achievement, you'll see with some time it's not that difficult to do. Instead try to build a Ranger that can solo those bosses with 1 or 2 other grp members that can't contribute much. Be the guy others ask for help so you will build a strong base of committed friends and get invited to do all the really hard bosses and achievements and challenges. For an end gamer, thats when PVE is fun: when you have friends to share it with.

Sharing end-game PvP is fun. Too bad several players can not participate in teams they want; their combined stats are too high for "balanced" play, and they can sit on the sidelines for hours.
Some times are worse than others, depending on who is available for play. So players are also at the mercy of their personal schedules and opponents' schedules as well.
And if there is no access to the best players, noobs never get a chance to see the best moves, to see what really works, to observe the gear that gives results. It's no wonder beginners are always asking for some insights and a plan!

When DSO loosens up on the restrictions, the answers will be more obvious.
