Suggestion Level sync...

To join a group your level will be lowered to 5 levels within the lowest level.

If you are level 50 join a party that is level 10 you will become level 15.

How this effects your gear...

All stats will be lowered to that of level gear. If you have upgraded the gear higher than 50 then it will be upgraded from the level 15. I all gear that is 51 will be 16 and so one with 52 to 55. If your level 48 and have gear upgraded to 55 then it will only be level 20 max. If your level 10 to 15 then your gear will not be effected nor will your level.

How will this effect green essence.

If you have level 50 essence on it will not be used. If you put on level 10 green essence you can use that.

This can be an automatic thing. So if you kill something you always get expensive til your level 50.


If you farm a lower level zone your level will lower to 5 above the lowest level mob in zone.

 

Sounds like you are trying to create a complicated situation for some reason. Most of it seems pointed towards twinking, if that is the case, making it impossible to team up with high level characters would be a much easier solution.

I'm not sure what is wrong with farming much lower level maps? They removed the early great gear, so I'm missing the point of this one.

 

This would also effect lower level maps. If your 30 and partied with a 35... ...what happens when they are 36. ...what if you never break the party. What if the leader of the party is 33 and you are 30 and they invite a 36...

 

Why do people have such a problem with low lvl characters? To be honest high level is just so boring and full of grinding and pvp is just full of hardcore payers with 5-7k damage, low lvl is a lot different and more fun so why have you got so much hate against "twinkers"

 

much easier to just have everyone gain XP at their level no matter who they team with

 

Simple solution. If a player is say 35 and teamed up with 4 lvl 30. If that person hits 36, once they teleport to town or leave that map, they get kicked from the group. Problem solved.

If a team leader is 33 and has a player in the group at 30, a level 36 could not join. Problem solved.

Map locking also solves this issue. Some maps already do this, so it is possible.

This conversation has been beat to death, but if you are not a twink, fighting one in pvp isn't a whole lot of fun and discourages newer players.

Look at any thread from a new player wanting to pvp and you'll see the only advice that can be given is to level up to get past the twinks.

 

Yes but that's due to the "flag bearer vs candidate" problem.. and by the way those "twinkers" farm, the others just spend spend spend and get perfect + royal stones at lvl 10-30 which is stupid
