Lightning SW in PvP?

Well, it's a pretty long story, but I've got a lightning based build now, and no more free resets to my talent trees. I am also reluctant to spend ander switching back to a fire based build.

So the question is, how (if it's even possible) does a lightning SW PvP? Tips? Techniques? Any recommended gear changes? (I'm still level 30, if that makes any difference.)

 

Ye tips.., you need speed over 2.00 to use lighnings in pvp(get some fast wand and farm for saphires, when you'r done then you need to farm more saphires again xD), its hard to hit someone with low speed. ;//

 

I'm no Lightning PvPer... I'll leave it to someone with experience to help you with this one. However, I do have one piece of advice: Prepare to be frustrated.

Already told you, you need speed over 2.00 and you are ready to spam chain light. all over arena, no special tactic whatsoever. That's hard to make on lvl 30. If you don't have that speed then you must rely on your lighning strike, to do that you need magic virtuoso skill from fame tree., so play pvp till you hit sez. cent rank and get your lvl 30 fame skill. PS: Chain lightning need to be covered up with decent crit rate and medium crit dmg.

 

High crit, high damage, high speed. It's all about chains and lightning. Fireballs need too high crit and damage but not so many speed. I preffer chains because I don't like to run and hit, hit and run as with fireballs.

 

Example: I use end times wand for pve and pvp when i'm playing with lightnings-my speed 2.06(max saphires that i ahve are included). When i'm playing pvp with fireballs i use sargons shadow wand-high dmg 1100 base(with green ess ) dmg, speed 1.55(It's pumped with all rubies i have).

 

Chain lightning? I guess I'm built to be a fireball SW, I kinda get vaporized when I try standing and spamming since my character is pretty fragile. xD I'm not so sure about the crit (39% since I favor using a ball) or crit dmg (250% with ball). I could go higher with a book, but I've never been comfortable with a book for pvp.

I have the Magical Virtuoso talent, and it's partly what's keeping me from changing back to fireballs. But I will concede I don't have the speed, so when I did try pvp, the only arena where I could still hold my ground was in duels where the space is tiny and wild flailing with no skill can produce lucky hits. -__-;

 

Then you should stick with the fireballs, return your talent so your fire missiles can fly faster and play like that, playing pvp as a sw is a bit expensive in look of andermants(ofc premium gives you a free reset).Btw your crit rate is not bad and you have nice crit dmg to..
