Login problem by new updates

    By recent updates release_120, there has been problem in login. is this error for come from new updates or what??

    As always happens after a new release, someone complains that they can't log in... Now, same as always, someone (me) will ask if you have done the basic troubleshooting steps located here, Particularly with attention to clearing the DSO Client temp folder, and the Java Cache.

    EDIT: Darn it Biz, you beat me by a second.

    Sometimes the basic trouble shooting does not work. I have been doing that and still I have had problems logging in. Often I have to try and try and try until something clicks, or try the browser.

    True, but when people come and ask for help but don't give us any detail about what they have already tried, or even worse haven't tried anything on their own, how can they expect us to have any insight as to their problem.

    Interesting that I continue to see people complaining they cannot log in after the last two releases (R119 and R120). I have be chatting this up in other forums hoping for an answer. I have cleared all the caches and the only thing I haven't done is "play" with my Anti-virus and firewall programs. Since there appears to problems being raised throughout the FORUM it would be nice for DSO to fix the problem -- whatever conflicts R119 and R120 have caused.

    I hope this is not in "violation" of the forum "rules", but quite frankly, I see this problem reported by many others throughout the forum and the only way to get to the bottom of this is to engage others registering similar problems -- not attempt to isolate them.

    I have done everything suggested in the forum -- to include disabling my firewall and anti-virus program. NEWS Flash -- it DOESN'T help! Still can't stay logged in for but a minute or two. DSO - please fix your releases -- whatever you have done in the last two releases has SCREWED up the login and connection to the game!
