lose 9 pvp levels.. nothing new -_-

just going around checking stuff and ow my.. whats this ive lost 9 levels

eneyone fancy taking a crack at why ive gone to 31 ( from 40 ) doubt ill get anything for that waste of time ill have to do it again or maybe ill just cut my loses and quit now.. only paying users have stuck around new players stand no chance in england we say "Boo Earns"

This is because when R209 came, it seemed that the PvP tree was boosted due to the fact that they removed the Wisdom talents from working in arenas - so people got free levels and assigned the points. Then a while after, it got "fixed" and reverted back to what it used to be... so you are back where you were pre-R209 in Fame level. You have -9 value because only whatever was in the 2nd row could be removed. Now you will still have the upper-row talents, and in 9 levels, you'll be back at 0, because right now you are lv31 and using 25+15=40 points.

I went from 37 to 51 and now back at 37. It's just another BP fail or change of heart.

 

Great explanation Morinphen, this happened to me as well and it was not a good surprise.

 

As described by Morinphen, you lost nothing... in fact, the fact that you still have those points assigned makes you lucky. You have the benefit of being LVL 40 PvP from now until you reach LVL 41, so long as you don't reset the points. You should be thankful, not complaining. Personally, I'd have expected them to fix the honor level and reset the PvP skills to force people to reassign the appropriate amount of points.

 

It appears that the used honor points were reset to 0 recently, so no more extra points and you may need to reallocate the points again.

 

I'm glad I said this after they probably had the release pretty much locked in so people can't blame me for being the cause.
