Losing 430k andermants after maintenance

I'm allowed to annouce only what's told me to announce, also remember that I'm a player like anyone else.

If I see a friend doing a mistake, I try to correct him, that's it. It's not a matter of caring.

Also it's not up to me to decide whenever an issue receive a fix or not. The devs are busy with updating the content, and apparently the fixes come after.

A game where players are held responsible for the mistakes in the game. There is no logical explanation for this.

 

I have nothing against you Hokori, but BP didn't do what was necessary: warn the players of the bug nothing more then if the players continue the bug I understand the punishment
but this is not normal especially the amount of ander they take away from the players

 

Server can only accept the input that was coded by devs, you should test the code better rather than make faulty product and shift blame on customers. How exactly can anybody know this was daily quest your devs unintentionally codded bugs and it wasn't daily, devs didn't knew about it and you are saying players must know that bugs exist before the programmers and testers? Count timer on each quest to make sure you aren't abusing any daily limit ? Your BIAS is epic here.

Again, read the patchnotes. After you've done that, you should understand that me as a mod I'm not making any excuses, I'm stating what was written even before the event started.

I can only agree that they did not acted as they should, but blaming only them is not correct.

As always, I can provide everything discussed here as feedback so they can look on it.

 

You know what?fine,you can have my andermants,i probably should not do the quest that appears in my minimap,or even better,before playing an event i should do a research first and memorize the details. but its quite funny you know..when bp messes something up that is hurtfull to the customer,the players are presented with offers that cost real money or a coupon code,while when its the opposite,bp wants compensation -_- i remember years ago things were different,they used to be fair to us. once they messed up the chests in circus and they gave away keys and respawned them so we can open them again.. i guess it was under different management

 

So what are you saying exactly? To play I need to first read patch notes, check events by name, check quests by name in game and make sure all of em are daily and start them only once?

 

Why did you take my 100,000 andermant? I played fairly, doing one mission a day with my 5 characters!

O man this is pure gold.. well apparently some of you emphases on ("SOME OF YOU") think you can cheat and not be held accountable for your actions.. you knew that the quest was bugged it was stated here in the FORUM about 2 days after the event started that the Doom Loop quest was bugged and allowed unlimited completions.. that's exactly why you was abusing it now your upset you got a 14 day ban or because they took back what you basically stole, they only took what wasn't rightly yours anyways.. It's F2P game you don't own anything even if you do buy it from the shop.. glad to see DSO do something this time, unlike the Dragan Portal bug..

 

Just curious, but how in the world did people get enough of the pieces (hearts, feathers & flames) to do so many of the quest?

I only did the quest once on the first day then stopped because I wanted to wait until I could complete the Nian Beast doll before doing more. I'm still not even close to having enough of the pieces & I've done a crap load of runs (Merci & Blood), lol. I've opened a lot of the chests after final boss to, but either I have some seriously bad luck with drops or I'm missing something else.

No clue if I'm missing ander or not because I was still waking up & forgot to screen shot before it started. If I am I don't think it's much though, but is really annoying that we NEED to do multiple screen shots every time just to see if stuff is missing or not after maintenance.

I do kind of understand why SOME stuff can get overlooked because there's some who play on test server who aren't really there to test things & just want to play to see stuff earlier & the bonus codes. It just doesn't feel like a daily event quest bug like this should be one of those bugs that get overlooked though.

 

@Hokori Please read this post. The same happenend to me. I only got 8 stacks of dragon teeths and 80k andermant removed from my account. The event lasted 14 days, thus with 4 chars, I could have played the mission legally 14*4=56 times. I only did it 24-27 times in total.

My guess is that some dev who investigated the issue did not consider that the quest could be played legally once per day PER CHAR.

I also edited the announcement since it was specified later to us that they are working on it, so whoever played correctly will be refunded

 

the problem is that the quest is not free, to complete it you need resources, at the start of the event I had at most 10 chests worth of these resources, no more, according to the rules of the event I could open 1 per day. that is, I couldn't even do this quest once))), but the difference is that I opened my 10 chests in 1 day, and is this a big bug????? 20+ years of premium? no, it's normal - keep playing)), "moonwalk"?-- no, it's not a bug - keep playing, bots for round-the-clock farming? - no, it's not a bug - let them play, but for completing 10 QVs (which I already had the right to do, one per day) they took 480k...

They should do everything themselves

 

The mission in the event could be repeated despite the daily limit. This vulnerability was accessible for a long time and the team did not make an official warning, announcement or "do not use this" statement. This vulnerability was later closed but Andermant was taken back from the players who performed the mission. It does not seem fair to punish players later for rules that were not clearly stated. If there was a bug and we were asked not to abuse it, this information should have been given in advance.

However, I would like to state that this situation is due to a system deficiency rather than the players' fault. The mission was accessible for a long time and no warning was given. We, as players, act according to the limits offered by the game. If the system leaves this limit open and those who do this are punished later, this causes a loss of trust. Such decisions can demotivate loyal players. And over the years, player motivation has been lost and the number of players has decreased significantly. I think you should reconsider this issue.

 

Hello, I see that the developers will return the inomancy to those who completed quests with 5 characters , I would like to see the punishment reviewed. If a person was doing a quest with 5 characters and was banned for it , I think we need to review this punishment too and cancel the ban or at least reduce the number of days.
