March New Moon Event

Here is my piece. I think they lowered the larger stack draken drop rates greatly or am I being extremely unlucky? as for the gears, the have been discussed a lot way before event started but still looking at them upsets u even more. even the max stats are terrible. Killed her more times than I care to count but not even 1 100 draken drop let alone 1k.
On the positive side the gem drops are awesome. and general playability is fair.

And a question for mods/devs , if I have a full spark/keen set and get the 10% critical hit rate, and the 33.3% critical rate from the new chaser set, how is it applied exactly does one increase the other or it just adds the critical of the original value? for that matter I'm curious about the old witch set % dmg enhancement as well. do they add the %'s together and take it from the base or are they applied one by one in a stacking up manner ?

I know that I'm not a mod, but the %s add together and then applied to the base. So, it would be 43.3% extra crit.

If that is the case what will happen 2 death rings say 3%+3% with old witch set? I mean which one is applied first or they're applied to the base without the set kinda weird.

 

all %'s are added then the sum is applied over the base.

 

Hi all

I have a Dragon Knight level 45, playing solo in the events. Have now killed Karabossa 11 times and the only epis item I've got is the Axe, once. The rest of times I got 10 draken and other rubbish things, such as low gems, coins and shortcut to Varholm.

I really want to get the Karabossa armor or the black robe.

It seems impossible to get Karabossa set. Anyone else having the same problem?

36 kills and still counting... so far only shoulder and costumes no even single 100 draken drop forget 1000.

i have played with 3-4 groups all end up getting 3/3 and atleast 1 of 100 or 1000 drop.. its just way to frustrating to see these random only bring bad drops to people who really need gear.. wonder if its really random.. too many occasions we have seen people with strong armor gears always end up getting better drop with better stats.. it cant be coincidence on so many occasions.

 

you are not only one who gets this.. same EDIT. pauldrosn pauldrons actualy 2 times and nothing more. after those laggs what i got yesterday with full group. the game made very clear to me, not worth to put a single dime into this rigged bugged lagged game. yes they say with new sets and better drops game will go beter. pffffff hahahahahhahaha ripp a ear from head and throw it.

 

I'll give you flat numbers so that it is easy to see what is going on. Say you have those 2 perfect RoDs, and three perfect pieces of the old set. Say also that your damage is 400-500 as a base. That would give you 6% increased across the board. That would bring you to 424-530. Then you would gain 225 max damage (3x45%X500) and lose 60 from your min damage. This would make your gran total for my example to 364-775.

This is over simplified because it does not account for the %damage you get from your Ancient Knowledge level... This too is applied to your base and would be applied in the same step as the 6% from the 2 RoDs.

There is one catch. If you see % damage on a weapon, it refers only to the base min and max damage on the weapon and the rubies on it.

 

I have killed Karbossa over 10 times and nothing, no unique's from New Moon, costume or 100/1000 drakens and I'm the strongest in my group...all i got was the emote, coins, green+white gear, 10 drakens and the "Amulet of Insight" nothing more...Full Moon was much better for me, at least i got 2 unique's.

 

I got reversed situation... on full moon 1000 drakens 0 uniques, now 70 drakens 3 uniques,loads of these waves and costume

 

Kill Karbossa 26times. All 10drakens, 1pauldrons, 1 costume, 12waves.

 

sorry i kill karabossa 77 times and i take 2 hat 2 shoulders 2 axe 5 costume i dont remember how many 10xdrakens ofc

no armor no 100 no ofc jackpot 1000

keep going that way bigpoint....

 

Playing a DK, I got the axe on my first try, something like +41 damage and +422 crit and +57 resist cold. Ok, but I will continue using my legendary black steel blades (upped to level 45).

 

Thanks again that answers my question. So basically the full dmg is added then the max and min are taken off from the sum of the percentage. Sweet!!

And on the update to the moon event drop rate , 60+ kills 6 uniques 3 100drakens the 1k one is no where to be seen on both the moon events . If nothing else 21k glyphs for tons of blues exchange per kill....hmmm better off farming HOD IMO. The only redeeming thing these new changes have so far are the drakens. Hope they change these crappy gears.


Almost forgot, what's the point of making these obnoxious waves stack up only to 10!

 

60+ kills and i just got 1 shoulder gear and rest are stupid waves, costumes, 10xdrakens and tons of greens

most of my frineds in my group ended up getting full sets with weapons and 100/1k draken drops repeatedly. so is it luck that i am being randomly unlucky for so many events back to back?

i really need an anwser to this.. how is that m consistently getting worst drops for so many events for so long? how can i say this is random when every one of my friend in my group end up having 10's and 20's of uniques? and i am here standing with only one drop from last 3-4 months of this moon events?

Let me set your mind at ease. The developers hate you in particular. Instead of setting up a pseudo random number generator to determine drops for everyone, they singled out your character and lowered the drop percentages for you and raised them for all your friends to make you mad and jealous.

Stop and think about what you are saying. It makes no sense. The truth of the matter is that when you use a PRNG, some people will have it work in their favor, others will get screwed over. I am sure that there are plenty of both and a lot somewhere in the middle (Myself for example). You are simply the most vocal on the English forums about your bad luck and think that for some reason you are special and deserve special treatment in this game where luck and chance are king. Suck it up.


P.S. Please feel free to report. We all know how you seem to thing that this entire game and everyone on the forums is against you.

I am mad at you for getting those uniques thus weekend and with Void for getting 2x100 draken ! All I got was wave hahaha

I enjoyed the event even with moderate drops.

 

Well, you got the 1x100 draken at least. That makes you better off than a lot of players out there.

 

Yeah just like buying 50 lotto tickets, you will have 50 more chances than the one that buys none!

 

I got 2 bows and all 10x Draken drops in 11 kills. Life goes on.
