    So I am trying to get my steam mechs knowledge up and for some reason it's giving the knowledge boost to my highest level character.....

    Is this supposed to happen or some weird glitch?

    Nevermind I figured out why it was doing this.

    It is not a glitch. If your highest experience level character is having less books of knowledge than the SM, then your highest level character gets the mentor bonus.
