Is this right or a bug?

My Spellweaver can mindcontrol both the Ranger's Wolves and Wooded Wraith minions.

She can also take control of other spellweavers Guardians.

But not any of the Steam Mechanicus' turrets. This just doesn't seem fair in PVP.

Ask yourself :"Turrets have mind to control?"

Maybe not an organic mind, but a mechanical mind...

Anyway, let's not get too literal. IT'S FANTASY!

This is more in the interest of fair and balanced gameplay.

Ask yourself again : "What kind of mechanic has a mind?"

Since my SW got to level 40, have to say it is far more versatile to play as my lvl 45 DK and Ranger. I don't think the SW class needs anymore gimmes from DSO. Seriously, SW has non stop stuns and damage going with all the skills available. Dwarf turret is stationary, just move out of range from it. It's not that complicated.

It's not about technicality. Wooden Wraith is... wood; do you expect it to have a mind? Arguments about turrets having minds are useless. This game is fantasy.

The problem, as OP said, is whether or not it is fair. Yes, it's fair. Turrets are a major part of Dwarf's gameplay and it would be unfair if SWs can take them over. And even if SW's Mind Control did work on turrets, it wouldn't be very useful. Dwarfs can easily re-summon the turret and mind control's influence would be no more. Waste of skill.

Wooden Wraith is a being so he has mind ( inspire from the lord of the rings ). They have mind, they protect forest, they can decide what they do .

I'd say it's more about collision. Summons you can walk over without bumping into cannot be mind controlled and vice versa.
