Missing items / workbench fail?

    Hi guys. I notice yesterday afternnoon i was missing 2 extraordinary belts with 2 yellow inc dmg lines each. I have 2 tabs on my inv where i save my workbench items and those 2 belts were there. When i notice my belts were missing , i contacted support and the answere was they check my sales and didnt see my belts. As i wrote on first support contact , im pretty sure i didnt drop my belts.
    My question is :
    1 - Can the workbench fail when i click to revert the combining process, not giving me the items on 2 first slots back? (That is a thing i really never checked , till i notice my belts were gone).
    2 - Cant support see that if 2 days ago there was on my inv 2 extraordinary belts , and till what i can see/ notice , from one day to another they disapear and suport cant say what happened to them? i mean cant they get that information?
