MOD needed????

So this announcement of Teddybears about needing MOD's,,, just how much cash money do these positions pay??????????? Asking for a friend.

Drakensang Online moderators are paid tens of thousands euros every month, in cash, delivered personally by Queen Antonia, in a personalized treasure chest with a special message carved on it. (kidding, of course) ​

On a serious note, the moderator team is formed of dedicated volunteers - there is no payment involved.

This explains why some moderators don't do their job properly

 

Being a mod on a forum is not fun. Most of the time you are fighting spammers and if that were not bad enough, you are enforcing rules that you may or may not always agree with. Add in the people who constantly blame the mods for things that are 100% out of their control and you'll see why so many don't stick with it very long. It is a tough gig. This particular forum has quite a few odd rules, but there are certainly worse ones out there.

From what I understand, DSO mods have to create personal forum accounts if they wish to interact here on the forum (in a non-official manner), which is kind of silly in my opinion. If you aren't permitted to say "certain" things just because you volunteer to be a mod on a forum, that seems like it would severely limit the potential pool of people willing to put up with it.

 

It's not completely true. They are paid in andermants ,premium deluxe and other stuff. Higher rank higher numbers.
