More slots for magics and skills

FIrst sorry for my English,
I have an idea, how can add more magic slots.
You can add this extra as new knowlege or just add it without any quests.
In this way, we will be able to use all magic more comfortably.
1. Add new button
2. when you press the button, new layer with more slots show up
3. now you can setup which keyboard keys trigger different magic
4. after you setup the keys and magics, hide the addition layer

You realize that at the moment, to get one extra slot is one of the things on the AK tree... to get 6 more... I doubt BP will ever get around to something like that. Plus, I like that the current set up makes you have to think about what skills you need/want. If it were like that, everyone would use everything and the careful thought some people put into which skills they will use becomes meaningless.

EDIT: Much more useful would be things like a Mount hotkey, a essence toggle key, a single emote shot cut key... that sort of thing.

I care what Baragain likes. Hot keys would make the game much more fluid, adding one more slot to the skills bar would be perfect in my opinion.

 

usefull hotkeys not too be filled with junk... sorry if your too lazy to open inventory to ride your mount or wear a costume...

Too lazy to switch essences when encountering a miniboss? Too lazy to take up a useful skill slot in order to put a healing potion in its place? These are things that could be used mid-combat that smooth game play.

 

oh you use essence lol, healing potion is in tab why do you want a hotkey for your mount , you cant kill with it lol... oh so you want to be on your mount to talk ok lol..

 

It would make sense to me to use blue essence on just the minibosses while farming in a group, for example. Use ~100 blue, save twice the time in a seamless transition. Or use blue essence as a Spellweaver to drop a Meteor while a Singularity is down without ever having to open inventory.

Having a shortcut to using a mount, like was posted a while back (smaller icon where you can drag your mount next to the teleport button). I don't see why these wouldn't be welcomed additions, even if you have no use for them, it doesn't hurt anything but save users time. There was an update not that long ago that was focused on "comfort features" as the Devs put it. I think these ideas fall perfectly under that description.

 

If you want to add more you should have more to use, Useful items, they are not....
They have 3 spaces open on knowledge tree which they could use for this sort of thing....

 

I find them very useful. I am aware of the open spaces on the Knowledge Tree, and given the fact that they have taken so long in adding or even hinting at adding to them, maybe they don't have any sound ideas? That's what this section of the forums is for . A bad idea is better than no idea at all, it just might help get the creative juices flowing. You never know if you don't try.

 

I love how you keep saying stuff like this to my posts. It makes me laugh. You post an opinion and then you expect it to remain unchallenged. And then there are replies/likes that clearly indicate that my opinions are valued by others... maybe it is because I have been playing for so long and know what I am talking about. Maybe it is because I am respectful of other people's opinions and not immediately dismissive. Maybe it is because I have earned respect. Perhaps you would do well to do likewise.

EDIT: And by "Keep saying stuff like this" I mean that 2 of your 8 posts (25%) seem to indicate that my opinion is somehow less valid than yours.

Why more slots, tabs, keys and buttons?
How about "Speech Recognition" system? You just put on your microphone and say something like "activate singularity" or "mount green horse" or "mark and two precision shots on the monster to the left ... not your left my left ... make it three precision shots"
You can just lie on your bed and play even without mouse and keyboard.

Or some mind-machine interface so you don't even have to talk, you just think it. From your bed 8)

Seriously guys, more slots could be the next knowledge slot in the knowledge tree.
They will be hidden (popup) so you have to memorize what skill with witch button is activated. Virtuoso is appropriate name for this.

 

I care what Baragain likes. I also prefer his suggestions, especially essence toggle.
