>NEED HELP<

I have a lvl 35 ranger on kongregate, have been playing actively for about 2 months but started account around a year ago.
I see that there are a number of PvP "Gappers" with event uniques and generally OP stuff.
I am an average player (40/65 games played were won) but i wish to get better at PvP and also improve my PvE performance for Ammon's quests.

- I have difficulty finding teams to farm Sig (hard) or Gorga (either normal or hard) because Tegan is sooo empty.... But I have managed to accumulate some almost-decent stuff.


As you can see below, I have a few items (of value?) like Sig's Chestplate of Eternal Ice & the Arrow from Treasures of the Deep set and a few higher lvl legendaries that i can't use yet.
And hopefully I'll get a good unique or two from R155 expansion.

So where should I farm? Currently doing Mt Suvius and the Atlantis maps as well as bosses.
Slowly doing ammon's quests but not planning to finish soon.
Should I open the mystic cubes that I have?
Also, I have a lvl 43 legendary, so if I identify it now, will it have a bad roll, and if I save it and identify it when I'm lvl 43, will it get a better roll??? Or is Identifying just a cosmetic thing now...

Also, I don't like Varholm but I do farm fairy wood sometimes and I've killed karabossa 10-15 times, not even a regular legendary has dropped... no karabossa bow

 

Hrmmm, my current advice is that if you have any interest in pvp the best thing to do is just level up to 45 and avoid all the twinks and gappers. Once you're at 45 try to open up map2 and farm gear there.

That being said, the level 50 expansion is coming soon, perhaps this week. You might want to keep farming tablet frags (as part of the current event, i see you have about 300 of them) while you're leveling up, but I don't know if you have enough time. 225 tablet frags can be traded in for an unique level 46 gea. Since you have 440 corrupted andermagic, you might want to just run to the nearest portal, kill 6 corrupted soldiers for 6 more corrupted andermagic, and enter the dungeonfor tablet frags rather than going to the other 2 entrances. Doing this might get you to 675 or 900 tablets (3 or 4 unique item chances) quicker than clearing the entire map.

 

Agathon is lag central for DSO; you probably wouldn't enjoy jumping ship.

Solo is slow. Pickup groups can be a real waste of time and resources. Try grooming some fierce friends for when you are online, and check out some guilds.
The Moon events are probably the fastest way to some boss uniques, but they require strong and fast teams to be effective. You could run Varholm and Blackborg once or twice a day, and have all the supplies you need for the event in a month. Eventually the draken will buy you better gear sets too.
Generally the tougher the map, the more & bigger the drops. You can try going back to lower level maps to farm bosses. Heradur was known for dropping uniques for gold or melt; Herald too. Some extra ordinary items are better than legendaries.

A cynic would tell you to find another game, one in the top 100. This game is known for it's frustration.

Gear drops already have the stats determined when they drop now. You can see this when you go to the merchant to sell them and matching items will have different prices. Waiting for higher levels won't change what is already there. When you ID it you are simply unwrapping the paper on it to see whats inside.

Mystic cube items will match your level when you open them so the choice is to look for gear you can use now, or wait till later and get gear you can use then. Many of them contain gems which will not change based on level.
