New female animations

Okay I think it's a good idea to maybe change the female animations so the difference between males and females are visible. But really? We look like handicaps when we run and we hold our wands like retards, it looks completely wrong, but I guess I'll have to get used to this -.-

who cares female animations??? The Game need some good news knowleadge,pvp tree or something else..not this.

 

I'm quite sure you would care if they change your char in a silly manner, it would only take a swing of the wand by devs to change the whining of females to whining males on the forums
Just because we don't look "silly enough" in your dictionary, doesn't mean we should shut up and not share our opinion. I agree, please change this stance or adjust it the right way. Let the people who are actually affected by your change give you feedback.

you still don't get it no1 cares, just those who play females (girls and EDIT) care about that, why do you think most of us throw all those costumes? cause it doesn't match our eye color? i never noticed "EDIT manner" in female characters nor do i search for them and I even find them non-existing and as daywaker2 said very very trivial, don't you agree games should be more developed in some other way? i would rather want to see them working on security against bots then changing female characters or fixing the problem with twinkers no offense just i think that you priorities are not in best of order.

 

The only thing I didn't get is how you failed to notice you posted that in a thread that's dedicated to this particular issue. I posted it because I care, on the char i developed overtime with hard work, and I don't care what others think - that's not my problem. And the ones who are playing the female chars are the ones who decide how bad their char looks now. More like embarrassing. I definitely agree games should be developed in other way. And i'm sure everyone else agrees as well, but this is not the topic here.
Also, whoever doesn't care, why bother posting?
I would want them to fix the twinkers I would want my female char to look good. I don't want world peace I only want a good life, lol. Let me decide what's the best order according to me. But I appreciate your suggestion.
As I said before this is my opinion and you don't have to criticize it. Let devs decide if they should fix it, and if they do, that would be great.

That's the thing, you are not playing it. This is a game. Gaming is a HOBBY. It's made for fun. You are not saving the world, you are not doing anything remotely productive or useful other than making yourself happy here. That's the PRIORITY. FUN. It's EVERY player's (female-male-bisexual-homosexual-lesbian-transgender) right to suggest something they think it will make their gaming experience more enjoyable for them. And no one has a place or a right to make comments by targeting any group of people different than them in a way if they do not count.

So instead of getting in a thread posted about something 'you really don't care' and make disruptive comments trying to render it useless, go post your own suggestions about what you like to see changed.

 

more on the game .. stick alot more detail in on places... more knowledge tree.. more new items... more mounts... not how good your character looks... you will be asking for a little dog to carry under your arm before long instead of carrying your wand..

 

To date .. Female players have made a stand and highlighted the need for the Developers to LISTEN...hear what is being said.. and rectify the problem.

To date I have NOT.. seen a positive and/or productive solution, only negative and ridicule responses from those who profess to be experts.. Perhaps it is time to join the many who have left before they think up another design to demoralize the female agenda even more on DSO, any further.

 

For those who came here to shut up the whining girls saying that there are other more important things to do in this game; I completely agree. There are million things wrong here; why in the name of God, instead of focusing on those things they have chosen to ruin us??? It shouldn't have been done in the first place! I'm sure everyone would be much happier if they fixed other things than ruining what was fine. Therefore, we DO have right to complain as much as we want, until they bring us back to looking normal as we once did. If they had time and put as a priority to make us look retarded, I'm pretty sure they can take some time to reverse it. And if you don't care about that, you can silently walk away to another threads you care about, we will not miss you here.

First of all please please please stay away from the offensive language here used, I know none of its intended, but please be careful how you use certain wording.

Secondly, this is a thread on the female animations, not anything else, if you wish yo comment on "other things that need doing" search for the correct thread for it, or make one if it doesn't exist.

Lastly, its a team of programmers and game designers that work on the game, just because someone changed the animation of the female character doesn't take anything away from the other things going on in game, they work in teams, and specialise in different areas, so nothing is being neglected to make tweeks to something else.

 

As one of the people with a female SW, I find the new animations decidedly unappealing. I have found ways to make the changes less glaringly obvious, such as spending the majority of my time glued to the back of a horse and/or wearing a solid black costume, but these are only temporary solutions to something that shouldn't even be a problem in the first place.

New animations aren't a totally bad idea, but maybe something that doesn't make us look like vamps would be better.

 

If you spend so much time looking at your toon apparently you aren't playing the game. My toons are busy grinding, questing or PvP and I for one do not have the ability to focus on how a toon looks when I am playing as there are mobs or players trying to kill my toons.
Why all the drama? I wish they'd put Xena warrior princess emote clothes in game, make the wenches less boring looking and more like women. And before someone says I am sexist, explain why all the nerd chicks go to comicon or cosplay barely dressed in some toon outfit oozing out what womanly charms they may have.
Waaah, my female toon runs funny. Well mine does too and I can laugh about it.
