New In-Game Special Features, Including Level Cap Rise To 50

    So on youtube the drakensang team asked the community to give ideas.
    I think first there should be a level cap to 50 with the following features below. I will write stuff that could be added to the catorgories i put them under. Enjoy, like if you would want this, and share and tell others. Feel free to copy and paste all of this to your own thread so the Bigpoint team can see. :)

    Level 50 Drakensang

    PvP ( Player versus player)
    - Bigger battles, 10 vs 10 on bigger fields and new battles with cooler objectives.
    - Make the battle cross server so the waiting time is not long, so there could be fights from werian server with people on the heredur server. This I think will make the pvp more interesting. Also an ingame system to immedietly report hackers, with one button click, the people you think are hacking will be reported.

    New zones and themes
    - Level 50 zones of course, new mobs and new gear.
    - For ne themes you can try add a different world, Like an 'Outland' That you can only teleport to at a certain level. There will be more dungeons and interesting unique "out of this world" creatures and beasts.

    PvE (Player versus enviroment)
    -I think there should be dungeons registrations like battles, There should be registrations with players that want to do the same dungeons s you put in a group. There should be a new type of currency for PvE, like Valor points or Justice points, You get this after completing a dungeon with your team. And then you can buy PvE gear, just like PvP but instead using PvE currency and not PvP, becasue some people dont like PvP.

    - I think there should be more to PvE like raiding, The raiding gives really cool unique gear, but the bosses are REALLY hard to kill, so it requires about 10-15 skilled players to kill the boss, raiding should be at the max level. It drops BOS (Best in Slot) gear, meaning Best in Slot gear. This will be like dungeons but the bosses drop much cooler stuff like mounts and gear that changes every season, or everytime the games level cap goes higher. It is a bit like events but
    the raids can be done anytime with a willing team you found or registerd with.

    Guilds
    - Guilds should have there own XP bar, So your guild can now level up with the players. It will be much harder for a guild to level up, but can be done by ALOT of players in one guild. For example, I get 5 friends in a guild, then over a week we do raiding, dungeons , pvp, questing, and eventually the guild will go to level 2, Then there will be guild perks, Like Mount speed increase in all areas by 10% or 5% more copper is gained from killing monsters.
    - There should be a guild ban, just like players can have there own little storage, guild banks, you can deposit andermant and gold, and gear and food and essences etc. Then good enough ranked players can acces the guild bank to withdraw items that will help them. If anyone needs andermant from the guild bank the guildmaster can give it.
    - You will have a reputation bar with there guild, The more you stay with the guild and quest with other guildies( other guild players) your bar will get higher. Once higher you can ask you guildmaster to promote you so you can acces stuff like the Guild bank for example.

    Cool feature that would make the game awesome!
    - In-game mailing system, This system allows you to mail other people messages and items and essences and anything in general, maybe not uniques from raidinng :p.

    - Auction house system - This system allows you to sell stuff to an auction master, so other players can view what you are selling for andermant or gold, your item will be bought and you will recieve your gold or andermant in the mailbox.
    - Trading system - This system allows you to tade on the spot with other players, for example, if your friend did not have any health potions, you can simply trade, he can give you some silver for some health potions, or if your friend is king, for free :D

    - Professions - This is a cool little idea, where you can be a herbalist or enchanter and collect herbs to make stuff or be and enginneer and engineer some robot gear or something cool. You can farm the iteams to level up your professions more higher level more better things you can craft. You can farm the matierials from cretures or collect them if they are herbs or metal ores
    , or simply find players that are selling it in the auction house.

    I want bigger battles too, but they are already working on matchmaking.

    Outland? I think I've seen that before. Also, there is an empty spot in the map, I think they will complete the actual map first.

    Maybe registrations for Parallel Worlds, bosses and for some new, harder dungeons too? But this would make grouping, region chat, and PW entrances useless.

    I don't really like this idea. What difficulty would the bosses be? Like Black Knights from the mini-event? Also, raiding doesn't fit Drakensang well.

    All of these guild ideas have been suggested before. There was some talk about Guild housing some years before, but it wasn't implemented.

    I like it but you should only be able to send health potions, mounts or other stuff like that, and max 10 gold.

    This has been suggested about a hundred times before, but it will never come. It would be unfair to give low-level players equipment or gems or other stuff.

    I suggested something like this myself, but then I realised, it would be too complex for a game like this. The current crafting bench is OK :).

    PVP:
    The next new feature for pvp would be guildpvp IMO. But it would be a mess to make fair battles with so many players. Even across servers.

    New zones:
    Yup, it would be nice with more areas, but there is one thing i will get back to about that later.

    Registration for pve:
    It´s already nannoying to wait for pvp, i don´t want to wait for pve too. But it would be fun with some sort of system where you can play up to 7 people in a special area, but that should be through normal groupsystem.

    New insane boss:
    Its good that there is something for top players, but think about the idea of such a strong boss. What would it cost in potion, essense and buff to get him down? If he is that strong, he will be expensive.

    Guilds:
    Everything suggested before.

    In-game mailing system:
    Sounds to me like nothing but a semitrade-system, and a trade system would RUIN the balance of this game.

    Auction house and trade:
    Like said before, it would kill the balance of DSO. And it have been suggested thousands of times before, it won´t get implemented.

    Professions:
    Sounds like the smith of Diablo where you find build-plans and materials and then craft stuff. Would be too complicated for DSO I think.

    And then, I DON´T WANT LV 50!

    1) The glyph-system made us able too keep our good lv 40 gear, but the way it works now, we would never be able to collect enough glyphs to make our old gear compare to lv 50 legen. All our work on our gear would be for nothing.
    When lv 45 came out a lot of people feared that thir good old gear would be useless, but it didn´t after all.
    But to lv 50 it will. For an example, Cloaked Wrath, the sword above all swords, woulnd´t be able to keep up with the dmg of a lv 50 sword becuz the cost of glyph would be too expensive.

    2) WAY too much grind to get to max lv. It is already a virtuel hell for new players to get to lv 45. Lv 50 would make it insane. Normal players having to play a half year before reching max-lv? NO! It is at max-lv the game really begins where you start to make your own build, having to play a half year to feel the real essense of the game?

    3) When it comes to new maps, its fun with new maps. But thay don´t have to come with new lv. It is already a hell to go from 40 to 45, then make more 40-45 maps! Or make a new serie of PW-kind of maps that scale to your lvl.

    4) "We get stronger with lv expansion", in one way, yes, but in another, NO!
    If we go to lv 50, PW will be scaled with us. Now we have mortis in lv 50 along with all PW and we can´t use our old good gear that was stronger compared to lv than the new. yihaaaaa....

    5) New lv 50 uniques. Well, they would surely make a lot of new uniques, but it would take another 3 years before there would be as many combinations and uniques like at 40-45, becuz all the old uniques would be USELESS!

    6) I rather want the lv 45 pvp and lv 45 knowledge to be invented! Start with that! In a couple of years you can start thinking about lv 50.


    All in all, I DON´T WANT LV 50!
    What i want, is more PW, new maps, more uniques with new abilities, new events and to make the other lv-trees done. But WITHOUT BUGS! Take it slow, make less bugs, then we can enjoy this fantastic game like it should be enjoyed.
    Lv 50 would just bring even more grinding. Give us something enjoyable instead.
