First of all, if there's anyone with good game knowledge that I can condact, let me know.
    1) So I've been playing for 3 days and I'm a lvl 38 ranger. I don't know what goals to set for myself. Should I go for sets that are for my level? Should I just rank up to lvl 55 and then start caring about sets?
    2) How much should I trust CV? And what stats should I focus on the most? As I said, I am lvl 38 and I'm playing with 6/7 piece splendid durian set, with 5 pieces being lvl 30 and the 6th one being lvl 36 granting me 27548 CV. I have gotten other higher lvl legendary pieces or set pieces that do not give me higher cv than what I have with the durian set. I have full yachaks set and 3 pieces of norse set that I am not using. Am I good or should I look for different items?

    3) I am using the 3day deluxe gift so I'm getting quite a lot of mystery cubes. I realised that they give items that are on my level, so should I stack them and save them for when I'm lvl 55? Or are they not that good? I currently have 81 of them.

    4) I am not buying in this game but I am saving andermants. What should I spend them on?

    5) Inventory expansions. When and how many should I do? How necessary are they?

    6) What should I do with unique items I don't use? Melt them or sell them?

    7) I would love a general explanation on crafting and when to craft and what items to craft

    8) Give me general tips that you think could help me if you want or can.

    Thanks for reading.

I don't have all the game knowledge, but I've been playing for awhile, so here are my thoughts.

    1) Sets are not nearly as important until you reach level 55. You would probably be better off using extraordinary/legendary equipment at your level for the most part.

    2) Damage, critical hit rate, critical damage, attack speed, health, armor, resistance, in the order of importance you see fit. Don't bother with CV. If you are able to kill the enemy before they kill you, you are doing just fine. I play a Dragon Knight, so I focused on just damage and health first. I have played a ranger up to ~level 45 and for most of it I played a 1 handed critical hit rate/ attack speed sort of build, which I thought was fun.

    3) You should wait till you are level 55, then they have the chance to drop more useful items like Augment cores (maybe this starts at level 50, but you should wait just the same).

    4) Inventory expansions in groups of 3. Locker expansions. Gem slots. attack gems (wait for -25%/-50% sale)

    5) Slowly over time you will need all of them. Crafting at lvl 55 takes up all the space. Event stuff also takes up a lot.

    6) Melt them if you wont use them. Look at the glyphs of power versus the gold you get and compare that to enchanted items.

    7) Baragain and Trakilaki are the forum gods and have put together guides on the wiki, which Traki maintains. The specific guide you are looking for is Crafting 2.0, but you shouldn't worry about this until you get to lvl 55. Also not, most players I know actually refer to this system as crafting 2.1, but this also should not worry you.

    8) The Wiki has a looot of useful information. How have you been using the wisdom tree? What server are you on? Have you joined a guild? Just remember to play for fun, read the forums, and help out others when you get a chance.

    Happy Hunting!

My advice is to not worry about your character all that much. I mean, it's essential to play the game and interact with other people but building a competitive character is gonna suck more and more time of your life and eventually, every goal you achieve will be nothing compared to what you still gotta do until you reach a level of power that you can be satisfied with. With all that said, relax and enjoy the ride. Afterall, we play this game to have fun.

Spend all your andermants on Inventory expansion. Start with the first expansion on inventory and locker.
Then you can add more room to your locker since it is more cost effective.
At some point you should start with your inventory and buy Inventory Expansion for 10800 andermant from the shop

Once you have them all ... you can start collecting andermant for gems.
Use the best you get (highest level possible) on your road to level 55 and melt the rest.
Don't keep your Cubes ... use them wisely.
Here is how I am using them on my new toons:
    - I am opening them as soon as my gear turns red (5 levels lower than my level) ... this way you can replace your outdated items and add power to your toon so you can go through the maps and quests faster and easier.
    - If you ... by any chance ... get cubes on a higher tier, just open them as mentioned previously. Those items can get you significant boost since they have higher stats.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. Here's the image I uploaded by the way.

Is my character okay with these? I have better unique items that are on my level but not a complete set. This set provides me better cv and better stats most of the time, probably because I'm getting all the effects of the durian set. Should I stay like this or should I just use the unique items that are on my level and ignore the CV?

    Thanks for all the help.

Ignore CV entirely. I could explain all the reasons why it is useless, or link you the lengthy post I wrote about it almost two years ago, or you can trust me. Go for the stats you need in order to farm what you need to farm. CV is as useless today as it was the day the devs implemented it.

I'd recommend using Yachaks with what ever good legendary items you've gotten in the process. It is a common enough set and you will be able to replace pieces with higher level ones as you move up. It is much better than the Durian set. Eventually, when you reach 55, you will end up replacing it with other uniques, but it will serve you well for the time being.

Also, before you can buy the inventory in sets of 3 lines at a time, you need to buy the first line on the first page. It is very reasonably priced, so I recommend buying that one right now.

Adding a couple of tips not yet covered by others:

    1. If you start a second character/toon, you can utilize a Mentor bonus for both wisdom and honor points. Done correctly, this will increase your wisdom/honor points twice as fast for your toons, and in this game having high wisdom is really really important.

    2. Glyphing up can be done above your character's level, and will give your armor and weapon higher stats. Greens are the cheapest to glyph (you gain the glyphs by melting equipment), so in SOME cases you can actually get pretty awesome stats on green or blue items compared to legendaries, if you are comparing for example a level 40 leg or unique to a level 45 green/blue.

    3. IMO, gems, runes, wisdom and glyphs make the difference between a weak and a strong character. So leveling up a bit more slowly and farming for said gems/wisdom/glyphs is a wise choice.

    4. The pets in the collector's bag offer bonuses for having additional pets in each category-- extra health, resistance, and damage. Check that out, and keep it in mind when you are choosing pets to purchase/win/gain. The bonuses stack, so it can add up to nice additional stats down the line.

Don't forget to select your daily deals before making andermant purchases. Collect those pets/emotes/costumes/mounts (especially pets) for bonuses and items.
