one question

hello to all i wanna make a simple qustion to admins-moderators
we are 2 friens playing together....45 lvl mage both of us
one is centurion with blue and green gear and gems only from farm.the other one is marsal all unique gear mount pets etc.
so i want to ask what motivation gives big point or you to us to keep playing. On the one hand the fist Tired to die from good characters and the other havent anything to try for.

To improve your character so you can beat the marshal, either by farming, paying, or both.

 

I would love to meet a Lvl 45 that managed to get to that level and have only magic and improved gear.

On the topic of "Why play?" The purpose of this game is to have fun. If you can't have fun in the process of improving your character, trying to get better so you can do more things in the game (I'll agree that it all sounds sort of pointless if you try to put it into words like this), then I don't understand why someone would still be playing.
This is not the sort of game you play for the story. This isn't the kind of game you play for variety. This is a game you play to spend time with in game friends, to release stress, grind for constant improvement. If those sort of things don't work for you, then I'll say that there no better reason to play that anyone can give you.

 

the first one can't do that because is so suck that nobody take him with.the secont cant be better he is at the peak. my question is why to play drakensang and not another one rpg. and why to do that. because others rpg games has story has big raid party has achivments has beter drop rate has no COT has pets and mounts as a drop has proper use of gold has market has party finder...i tired to suck anyone for a party. i ask for those thinks(players i mean) and you say no. and i stil have nebula error for 2 years now. to be honest i like your pvp but i think pvp its not a motivation any more.

 

45 Level with Green and Blue, not believable. Btw a "noob" in any game is a noob and not pleasant to have in a Group/Party, because they are always players that worked for their gear and will be helpful to you having them in group and you will be helpful to them too with your good gear. When you have 4 places to fill in group, with random players, you will get the best possible players to fill them, if you are not doing a group to help friends or Guild mates.

Ofc they will not, imaging if all others where with Green/Blue gears, party of 5x 45Level players, what they gonna farm like that? Temple Sector? So... 2 friends and one at max like you said, so the stronger one can help the weaker, you can make a group of 3 by yourself and farm let's say Q1 or m1, so the weaker will get some legendaries on him or at least extras. I helped and helping many Guildies that are weak, with Q scaling I can clean maps solo, so taking 1-2 players with me doesn't make it much difficult and they get their drops and EXP if they are lower level.

that was an example about those two friends. i am the marsal i have all bg mount all uniques gear and i havent noobs friend if this is so hard to undersand. ok now what? i go for pvp and i keep seeing 50 people again and again either i lose or win. And i am good....i am very good....i'm god. how about a noob player? isn't suposed to have a good motivation to keep playing. i dont seen any noob player in arena because they CAN'T play against me and against other good player? how about them?

So your questions are:

1. "What a end game player can do in DSO?"
Not much, but still exists some activities to get some fun from doing them.

2. "Why would a new player try and reach the end game? if it's nothing at the end..."
Well, the process of reaching from newbie -----> end game gives no fun to the player, then must not play this game at all.

Yeah I know, with "end game" I don't mean "The End".

Also I know too many RPG-s that have endless activities for the "end game" players too.

 

I guess i have to find something else fon now until this game provide me something interesting. maybe its just me that i have no courage to log in any more its my fault and i have to do with it. thanx by the way

 

No imagination with the dev's thats the problem, they are out of ideas..
Lev cap at 45 thats a joke.. 3 empty slots of knowledge tree, taking to long for them to think of something...
With the amount of fans they say they have, you would have thought that they would have plans to extend the maps greatly but no, they rather add silent quest and same old events which are a big fail...
It's 2014 do something to get more wanting to play, to keep your so called fans here..

IMO BP isn't a gaming company interested in game content so much as getting more and more profit games churned out. They develop games that bring in fast cash, farmville games where to really play you have to pay. To expect BP to take a title and run with it and really make it a HUGE game with expansions, maps, levels, quests etc., is folly. They only develop the games so far and concentrate on the next browser game that will bring in cash.
I play this game still but have zero expectations anymore. I will be switching to another game when it comes out in April this year, but will log in here still to play a bit.
Granted, even with this games graphics and play style it could have been really good, but I doubt they have a dev team staffed enough to turn DSO into something big. But it doesn't matter, in a couple years they may release a DSO "new" with another title, completely new maps, etc., and we'll jump into that game and play it until the end all the while realizing that in the end it will be exactly the same lol. "Why no more content???!!!" will be asked over and over on that games forums.
