Onyx Dragon

For those who got an onyx dragon last time, rest assured. Who the hell's idea was it to make it so that the piece doesn't have to drop? I found out the collar drops from excavation site and finished all the boxes. That freaking piece is ALWAYS missing. Which also means that, the rewards are random and EDIT. I'm pretty sure most of you found out about this already.

I mean, the last dungeon is hard. At least make it so that 1 piece will drop once for each dungeon. It is not like it will be easy for anyone to get the last piece.

At least make it so that the rewards like raven will drop at least once or something. Those chests are just EDIT.

 

Then for those of us who did get it, we get ticked when we have an entire chest wasted on a part for the dragon. I have friends who have gotten three Onyx Skulls while I had three of my 6 chests for the Battle Ground map give me parts for a dragon I already have. I got tons of the dragon parts, but no emote and no pet... GERRRRR, Not cool BigPoint.

 

Hmm, well I can't complain about the onyx skull as yet because I've only done 1 run with my main. (and 1 with my DK that went terribly bad.. however he did get the piece of the dragon from there so thats cool)

But, my main didn't get the raven nor the emote.. just the costume. Which was pretty despicable if you ask me. He also didn't get the egg from Desert map, yet got 2 incubators.. I arduously hope that the chests will be reset at least once in these 20 days or I will have been quite disappointed.

All in all, the event is still fun and I enjoy it, aside from the knights' battleground, of course.. that one is just a pain in the ..

 

It seems like during every event, half of people are upset because they didn't get everything they wanted. At the same time, the other half are happy because they got everything in a few tries. This must mean that, unlike bug fixing, DSO is doing a good job of randomizing drops.

 

As I suggested on the feedback section, this is what I think the drops should be.

The boxes are terrible, I didn't get a single raven nor costume while I got 3x emote and 3x egg for onyx dragon. Onyx skull totally didn't drop as well. Boxes are very unfair and totally based on luck. You should've done this. one box dragon piece, one box dungeon specific reward (pet, costume, emote, gem), two box draken, one box dye with potion, one box gem. You guys totally screwed up the whole event only because of the damn boxes. For the last stage, instead of 2x draken reward it will be one only. The other is a drop which I got: 999 ess of destruction + 1 legendary item as to prevent too much draken income.

 

well be happy about that. I got an incubator + 5 pearls 3 times ... ... That or just wasted chests.

 

I clicked "Like" but what I mean is I feel your pain... it wouldn't take much work for DSO to put in some code that checks if you already have the dragon and then not give you parts for the dragon... then I wouldn't have had about 8 of my 24 boxes wasted on stuff I have absolutely no use for other than selling for 8 whole silver.

 

I think you got my comment wrong. That was ,my suggestion for what the boxes should be. two box draken, one dragon piece, one dungeon special item, one gem, one dye with potions. However, for the last dungeon, instead of two draken chests, one should be 999 ess of destruction+ 1 legendary item, since draken drop in last dungeon is 350 drakens, or so I heard.

Nevertheless, I already had other dragon pieces kept from last time. Still the same piece that I can't get

P.S. incubators are from jullov. I got 2x incubators (which i already have)+ 3x emote from that one. 6th box was 2x gems, both splintered diamonds.

 

I can verify, I got 350 drakens from the chest when I completed battlegrounds for the first time. If I can get one skull gem in the next five tries, then I'll be happy. More than one skull gem would be nice, too

 

but if they gave you everything you wanted there wouldnt be any moneys in its for them froms all the richs ppls

 

i got only three items for the onyx dragon so only one left but all my chests are opened so how can i get the last part?? did i do something wrong along the way?? please answer

 

Nope, you can miss an onyx dragon piece. It doesn't have to be in chest! Sucks for us, I missed one on all my accounts.

 

Yeah, there's no guarantee to get all four pieces. If you really want that dragon, though, I would save the three pieces you have. No doubt, in an upcoming event, there will be more chances to earn the piece you didn't get.

 

if everyone got the same items from all the boxes it would be a bit pointless. it is annoying that you can get stuff that you already have, but that happens for every unique pretty much.

 

Look at one of the lucky guys talk I guess. Of course none of us would mind if we got many drakens instead of 3 dragon piece and no onyx skull right? And some others get like 3 onyx skulls, how very fair. Of course some things can be different, but everyone should receive a bare minimum.

 

For me that was too. I have opened all chest from all places,but just I have 3pieces of dragon(I finished 1piece at map2).I thinked I will get last piece from map4 but I dont got.I think its bug

 

I have only finished 2 of the dungeons and i have gotten the onyx egg and the COLLAR so far, if im reading this right does that mean because i got the collar im almost guaranteed to get the other 2 pieces for the onyx dragon?

 

No, you ARE guaranteed to get the other two pieces... according to the hotfix, anyways.
