People hate CE

Can you please stop being sp negative and stop the hate?
Ofc and i disagree with a lot of CE changes ive spent not much money but a lot of hours all those years but that doesn't make me hate the update...its a whole new game but can you please UNDERSTAND that the game cant stay the same for 20 years? A lot of players have almost "maxed out" their characters and for those is the game created..not for the people who play 1 hour a day...complain that they cant upgrade their characters...if nobody played like 24/24 a day then there wouldn't be progress so the game wouldnt be going on...
Things have to change it cant be the same forever...its a company and they need money thats how are the things... its business for them and this is all that matters understand it.

 

The title of your thread is correct. PEOPLE HATE THE CE! And when this hits the live servers the 95% of the players that said nothing about it all will hate it even more. Wait till it hits the live servers and players are in total shock. The people that hate it will increase a thousand fold.

 

You seem to be missing the point of your own post dude; as the negativity and hate have been earned. It isn't by accident that people feel this way. BP has worked tirelessly to create the current toxic climate and it is important for them to reap the rewards of these efforts.

Further, I am sick of hearing everyone say "It's a new game" as some kind of blanket excuse for the usual nerfing and stealing and overall disrespect for the things players have often spent years and dollars to obtain. I don't recall anyone asking for a new game, although there are many people out thee actively seeking new games from other developers. But the idea that this is a new game is complete nonsense. All the old quests and maps exist, the NPC's exist, and most of all, the disrespect of the player base which has become the hallmark of DSO, has not changed or even been reworked. Modifying the skill tree, reducing hotkeys, buffing the bosses to godlike invincibility, and blanket nerfing all of the existing equipment while tossing in a few new maps is NOT a new game.

Lastly you offer a philosophical argument about "please UNDERSTAND that the game cant stay the same for 20 years?" without backing up the argument, or statement, or question. It is hard to understand your writing with an overabundance of punctuation, but none of it where it belongs. But seriously, if I want to read Aristotle, I can do so elsewhere. DSO is a video game and I came to enjoy it the way I found it. The revenue model was fine until they made "changes", largely to a part of the game I don't even play, and they lost a huge portion of their player base. Since then, they have doubled down on stupid and greedy, repeatedly and the only actual change that will take place is a few developers will soon be looking for jobs.

So there you go. Yes, people hate the CE, but more than that they hate BP. This was truly earned, and the least we players can do is spread the word.

Dude, here's a simple thing that you may understand. If people paid for something, no one should fiddle around with it. That's the MOST BASIC THING. If someone invested $100 in a weapon with 10DMG, you cannot just make an update and nerf it to 1DMG. It's that simple. I ain't even going to go into other changes and why they're insulting. I can only hope you and other like you can understand the above example.

Add new maps, npcs, quests that are impossible to surpass, fine, your choice, BUT DO NOT, DO NOT!, screw with products people have purchased! That's rule 1 in any business.

If you don't agree with me, I hope that the next time you buy a mobile phone, they will force you to update the OS so your mobile runs like a Nokia 3013. Then you'll get my point.

 

Well, the problem is that the expansion is a complete mess that is going to screw over the players.

 

The CE won't be a new game, but a new way to play.
First of all the players aren't forced to use the same OP unique, they can do their owen build based on their play stile.
Some changes are good like the new craft for gems and runes, the switch of enchantments and the drop of ingredients by the monsters.
I don't worry who hates the CE and I will be happy if all the negative opinionist leave this forum to go to an other game forum.
I had a good time in this game, I'm waiting the CE like a girl to her first dance and if I won't like it, I will leave the game, but I will not come to cry here.

 

The problem is that the players ask for more content, as in all the other games and bp does not give more content, it only recycles maps and puts the same maps, monsters and bosses in more difficult mode.

-I don't need the new inf
-I don't need you to change my skills
-I don't need you to remove 2 skill slots
-I don't need you to nerf me the unique outfits
-That you change the value system, damages and others for the 3rd time

What I need is:
-That you put more skills to decide how to combine them
-May you add more wisdom
-That you put a bag for essences, another for gems and another for runes
-I need new sets that I can use and are viable and not have to die to the stick of using the Q7 set or the wolf set
-I need to be able to choose between going to a hand or two and that both options are viable
-That you separate the pve from the pvp once and for all
-That you add more pages to my inventory and to the gnome's chest
-New events and do not repeat the same 4 over and over again to infinity
-New maps
-New monsters
-New bosses
-That the shortcut bar is smaller in size (not removing accesses, if not reducing its proportions, if it measures for example 10x15 that measures 8x12)
-That the icons of the skills, buffs, etc., do not occupy half the screen and limit me where I can click with the pointer
-Exclusive sets for pvp

And these are just some things that would improve the game, I know that I left many in the pipeline, but I think with this you would satisfy many of the players and I think they would be in favor of if we did not everything, it would be almost everything that I just explained.

 

Let's quickly remove ''my character is robbed again and I have to farm again until I have grandsons/daughters'' of the picture.
Other major reason why people hate CE is the way CM Jester and his pet Mr Shiny Head, presented CE to the players (you will see what I mean in the examples I will give)
The first think I remember learning from them was the new difficulties and the removal of the tiers. First qustion that popped off was what will happen with our cubes will they be valid after CE ? Months later we get a answer simple as ''Better just open them'' Back then i was not convinced oppening them, 5 days before the drop of CE in the test servers I learn that Cubes no longer will drop gems ( at this point I hesitated of oppening but still I decided not to) then @trakilaki with his post told us about the huge scam in the cubes and thanks to him I opened them. Exactly 1 day before CE I had the information I need for the cubes (before they made the 2nd delay). How this problem could be solved ? A 30-60 seconds video explaining to us how and what will happen with our cubes if we open them after CE.
Then they told us about bosses will have shield (huge mistake with the little info we had) many of us didn't like it because that's extra work, extra essence you need to spend (especially in events like Halloween/Soltise Festival ect.) AND STILL we had no Idea about the major mechanics that are comming.
During all this mess we got some useless videos showing us how new tree of experience will work (well part of it) The way I saw the dwarf, I instantly thought that my class is dead and that was huge joke (as well as most of my friends with their class) and then 5 DAYS yes 5 DAYS before CE they showed that you can change skills with elementals and skill X will deal damage with the element you've choosen.
And one of their last posts about CE was about maximum lvl 100, again huge huge mistake because we didn't know about the big big mechanics coming in the way.
Another big mechanic we've learned 5 days before CE drop in the test server is that PW set's no longer exist and they give points for the exprience tree (huge mistake this shoud've been announced at first).
Dear BP after 3-5 years when you make your next CE and you didn't bankrupt, when you present the players information Drop us all the information at once so we can figure it out by ourself or drop It one by one but with 1-5 minute gameplay of it.
Im not gonna go with the robing it's nothing new every CE this happens and it will continue to happen until the game completly dies.

 

BP are scared to do that because they will not be able to get good profit of it. they hope to get rich from all new kids tru ther moms and dads credit card
BP dont care about the players that play for years to get to the best items and etc.
They are scamers and only thing they know is to give us lies and excuses!

 

As you wait like a girl to her first dance, picture the abusive, drunken sloppy, sociopath that grabs you forcibly and instead of a dance, gives you a nightmarish merry-go-round, and as he burps in your face, and breathes his vile breath upon you, whispers that he's giving you what you want, and what you asked for. Then you will feel the way most of the players of DSO feel.

 

CE gave me a dance, not a nightmarish merry-go-round......................
