When I get the 'battle start' window for PVP, most of the time there is no sound notification. I know that this isn't a big deal but it is very usefull to me. I get no sound notification too when DSO application window is out of focus (e.g. another application opend). If I'm not asking much, can you please check this? Thanks anyway.

It used to work that way. When I returned to the game last year I noticed it no longer did. Was quite useful before since I could catch up on forums (this and others) while waiting for a battle. A few things to note:
    • If you fail to join and reregister the sound will work the next time
    • if you change maps while registered it will usually work after that
    • this is not the only sound in the game that is bugged this way. There are many others. E.G.; Sounds from merchants (like hammer and anvil sound from smith) do work until the second time; The new gem stacking sound also and many more.
    • problem exists in both client and IE (and formerly FF)
Obviously these would be a low priority fix but still it would be nice.

    Luck be with ye,

That "gong" sound is broken for me since... uh... long. But yeah I would appreciate if it was fixed.

    Hey there heroes,

It is a known issue that was reported in the past.
Sometimes that background sounds works, sometimes it does not.

Thank-you for pointing it out, we'll send it again ;)
