PvP is terrible

mentor bonus is EDIT they should remove it now in arena i only fight against koto and marshals

 

Well I'm relatively new to the game; been playing few a few months. All I can say is I don't like PvP all that much. It's not the mentor bonus that's the problem. It's that when you go against someone in the arena and your level 9 and they're level 9 they might not actually be level 9. With AK and fame they may be the equivalent to a level 30+++.

I understand that some may buy their way to a better character but I also know many have worked long and hard to get their character the way it is. But when a recruit with low AK is paired against a epic mount riding KotO is he really fighting against someone whose equal? Are they really both level 9's?

To me the best way to balance things out while still being able to play without long wait times at the arena is to restrict rising levels in AK, fame, and equipment (including putting a level on gemstones). Make it so you can only raise them as high as the character level. You could still earn AK and fame, but you can't raise the bar in those areas unless your character's level matches.

 

Nyshen, I am new (1 1/2 months) as well and I agree with you as several times today I was one punched and killed by two different KoTo's. These were "level 14" characters with Ardent Legionnaire and Seasoned Centurion titles. IMHO they have no business being there with the lower level groupings and are simply big fish in a small pond. In one round one of them basically one punched our group of three to victory so it hardly seems fair.

To add the one had to rub it in by using the "laughing" Gnob feature. When we exited he then got on his Epic mount. He must be one of those "Corvette" drivers like the old saying goes...

Not a good way to retain or add new blood.

Edit:Just saw a level 4 KoTo who was a Seasoned Legionnaire in Kingshill and competed 3v3 against a level 8 SW who was Seasoned Centurion. Yes all we could throw at him did no real damage to him...

 

Don't worry about the arena imbalance, you soon find yourself the right place and friends to talk to that can help you make it fare match, something call "compromise" WIN WIN. Arena much easy right now, sometime I'm boring take too much points, so we take turn "friends for benefit" WIN WIN. There a bunch of lv2, lv3 Season Legionnaire now out side of Darbmoor and it's seem ok.

Everything seem just fine besides my lv12 Season Knight of the Order waiting too long for a fight and it's usually the 1v1 Duel coming first instead of 3v3 is my expecting.

Hope to get Flag Bearer in couple months later when I level 13 or 14 but getting slow now due to lack of players. Please invest into game advertisement to send more new players so we can have more fighters please!

For cheating.

 

With the R132 on its way, I'm forced to lvl up or i will start at the beginning.
So today i took my SW lvl 3 to the arena and in 12 hours, I only got into 8 battles.

...and he is still a lvl 5, and the only fights available were 3vs3...5vs5 and 6vs6 were always full but never activated, sometimes i had to wait for 1 hour.

But i disliked the elo system, why you may ask???

Because i'm a F2P and my low lvl is a bit strong, so i thought that some of my battles would be against P2P class....boy was i wrong.
All my fights were always against weak players, even my teammates which by the way are friends of mine(also F2P) and they are strong too and the ELO always selected me and my friends to fight against very weak players.

So, today i discovered that the elo system doesn't distinguish F2P from P2P, the ELO always selected the strongest against the weakest.

 

is there now a maximum number of points you can get in a single day? One of my characters cannot sign up for 3v3 battles...guess i'll check back tomorrow.

 

The PvP is becoming worse and worse...They must do something to fix the problems before everyone stop playing....

Actually, there's nothing wrong in here, you're koto lvl 35? he's marshall lvl 40.., it's within elo's limitations, exp and fame lvl 5+-.

 

Nothing wrong except marshel called me noob, because weak marshel couldnot touch me xD..Honestly i love un even matches, makes you play alot better

 

Of course he is weak.
There are lot of players farming arena only and think that the rank is getting them in advance. Wrong!
I rarely play arena for more than a year, my rank is still AKOTO like it was when I was level 40. So I happily kill marshal noobs when sometimes I decide to have some fun in the arena.

 

Ofc, it's all about the numbers.
