Q1 fragment drop from Madok.

The developer who changed the drop rate in the Q1(re) script did a huge mistake with calculations, I(and not only me, everyone have the same problem) need 150 runs to get 300/300 50/50 and 300+ runs to get 10/10... very wrong, disturbing and annoying.


Personally I finished the 300/300 50/50 two days ago and had only 5/10 at that time, when I killed Madok every single time, also farmed only him for around 30 kills. Now I'm farming only Madok mostly and getting 1 in 25-30 runs, sometimes even more runs for 1 fragment(like 45 +/-5), still have 8/10.

 

It is very annoying. I wish I would have farmed my second ring of life before this change. I didn't think I would use a second one, but now I want one for 5v5 and possibly a few other scenarios. Barring the unlikely occurrence of many people suddenly having bad luck at the same time, the drop rate from Madok has been reduced a lot. I can't even fathom why this was necessary...

 

The one problem of this game from closed beta, has been the end game. What is supposed to happen there has not been worked out, so until someone gets the script correct, players need to be kept occupied. Therefore,"creating a challenge" seems to be the cop out for the time being.

Ok, yeah I really should be going back to my reading..

 

It appears to me the same thing is happening to the mighty fragments in HoD as well. I have almost half of the minors already, but only 5/50 of the mighty fragments.

 

After one of the updates (118 or 119 ? ), the Madok frags seemed to start dropping more for me. Maybe it is just a matter of bad/good luck? I don't know. I was almost finished by then, though, so it didn't really make much difference.

As far as the HoD frags, I can't comment. I'm at the point, thankfully, where Mortis and the Rings of Death are behind me. All I do in there now is farm glyphs, etc.
