R122 fullscreen lag

122 showed that they tend to "fix" things that were never broken and create more chaos with their improvements.

 

What appears to be the problem?

 

I keep getting kicked out of game changing areas, running Tegans Wall, Sanctuary and Hidden Sanctum. Very frustrating. Plus I have horrendous lag and it all started with patch 122 and that forced full screen play you "fixed". No matter what I do for game settings, and trust me, ran the gamut with DSO fixing problems in game for 2 years now, and nothing is solving my severe lag issues now. Oh, play Tegan btw in case that helps.

 

Since this appears to be a different issue. I have moved your question to a new thread.

• Are you playing through a third-party partner site?
• This question may be obvious, but have you turned down all the quality setting? enhanced fullscreen, high quality graphics?

Are others on the Tegan server facing similar issues since Release 122?

 

Go read the feedback threads on 122. Many people complained about the full screen issue and nothing was done about it. And yes, I have everything turned off and no I do not play a 3rd party site. Wrote support but apparently it's my problem as apparently I don't have a good enough graphics card now to play the game. Thanks for that. It worked fine before you tweaked the screen sizing on us, now any amount of excess graphics action on screen ie battling mobs, lots of animations going on at the same time and I lag out completely then.

 

The Thin Client may be an option for you if you want to play using a windowed screen. This may cut down on the CPU and GPU process required to run the game.

I have also recently passed on complaints to the community manager about the increased processing power required to run the game since release 122; your requests have been noted.
