@trakilaki - We can't use side mouse buttons, only left and right click unless your using some sort of software or what ever to use them.

 

I have a real gaming mouse, and it came with software to map the keys on the mouse however I want... If you have a mouse with keys on the side, it sounds like a real gaming mouse. That means it probably has it's own software designed to remap those keys. Go find it, download it, and use it.

 

It's a cheap gaming mouse, Gigabyte GM-M6800 and fits my hand perfecly so that's way I buy it. Software in unusable, am drakensang will not let us use side buttnons on mouse :/ what a bummer am wishing for this for sometime now .. big dissapointment with 126

 

Ah, that is on the lower end of gaming mice. Your best bet is 3rd party key mapping software.

I use the R.A.T.9. I can program all the buttons except the two mouse buttons and the DPI selector. Very helpful.

It's been said multiple times before (by mods) that programs that remap keys one for one are allowed. What isn't allowed is using those programs to turn a single key into a macro.

 

one for one meaning = 1 click = 1 time use skill? If I understand you good.

just to add ... after one gets knowledge lvl 30 the prizes could be more attractive, like CoT, spheres for Warholm/Blackborg, etc.

I can do whatever I like with my PC. BP doesn't own my PC, I own it.
When they say "forbidden 3rd party software" they speak of software that is messing around with their code or something that is their property.

If you have extra mouse buttons you can map them as they are keyboard buttons.
Whenever is convenient I am using my old PS2 DualShock controller. It makes my gaming easier and funnier. All I have to do is calibrate it and map the keys.

 

Exactly, and BP will not dear to challenge ADA's accessibility laws.
