    It's not 45% + 33% = 78% + 10% = 88%. That's not how it goes.
    When Electrified (2nd hit) the damage is 45% + (33% of 45% = 15%) = 60% of base damage.
    If you have the "Charged Lightning" then the base of 45% of base gets 10% of 45% added which gives:
    45% + (10% of 45% = 4.5%) = 49.5%
    Then charged (2nd hit) gives:
    49.5% + (33% of 49.5% = 16.335%) = 65.8% of base damage.

    You never get any where near 77% of base.

    And that is 65.8% of base damage each to a max of 3 monsters = 197.5 total damgae dealt to all monsters your fighting. Which is a far cry from the 1000% that the DK can do. BTW: I know it's possible for a DK to hit 10+ creatures with one Rageful Swing because I have a DK and have done it, over and over.

    I remember clearing hordes of monsters with infinetly jumping chain lightning. It was changed long time ago.
    Fastest? You drank too much rakija for sure. :D Even a DK is faster (larger AoE). Not even talking about dwarf...

    Long enough to remember nerfs of SW about which you forgot. Many, trying every class a few times. Dwarf who is in Godmode about which you talked already (high damage+high defence). Ranger and DK who can cover great area at a time and thus are fast... and SW.
    Incorrect. That is 65%. It deals 49% of base damage with charged lightning.
    Now some calculations:
    Let's take into account a horde of 15 monsters, 10000 hp each, letting other values alone to simplify. Taking every character with 10000 damage (no min-max to simplify), letting crit, hp and defence values alone.
    DK: Jumps in the middle, dealing 10000 damage to 5 nearby mobs (1s). Waits 1s for other mobs to get closer. Uses MWS dealing 20000 damage to all (1.5s). Total time: 3.5s
    RA: Uses hunting trap (1s). Gets a few steps away (1s). Trap blows up dealing 5000 damage to 6 monsters (1s). Casts net upon another bunch of enemies (hitting another 6 foes) (1s). Uses scatter shot, dealing 12000 damage and killing 12 mobs (1s). Uses scatter shot 2x killing the rest (2*6000) (2s). Total time: 7s
    SM: Places two automated turrets (1s). Waits for mobs to come through and die off taking 17500 damage each hit (2s). Total time: 3s:cool:
    SW: Freezes the horde with Frost wind (1s). Uses two lightning strikes to kill 3 enemies each (dealing 25000 damage to each, letting alone that "foes withing a 2,2 meter range receive a fraction of the damage") (2s). Uses chaing lightning two times to kill three enemies (4900+6500) (2s). Repeats that 2x (4s). Total time: 9s
    If I took into account more hp of the monsters, DK would be a bit less effective, dwarf would be more effective compared to rest, and taking into account SW's lower defence along with some monster damage, having to constantly escape (eg. between each chain lightning), it would just make the gap even wider.

    I agree with this argument.We have top warriors with 100k hp, 20k+ armor..10k + ressist and over 20k dmg.And then we have top SWs with 20k dmg and twice as low hp/ressist/armor.SWs have indeed lower defense but why do they have similar dmg range as warriors who have highest defense? If their defense is the worst from all 4 classes ingame , then shouldnt at least their dmg be the highest of all 4 classes in order to compensate for the defence lost?

    In most games, if you sacrifice defense you do it because you would gain dmg..if you sacrifice dmg, you do it to gain defense.In DSO however, you sacrifice defense (if you play SW) and win..nothing lol.

    I never understood this to be honest.

    Excuse me, I am looking for the R194 discussion thread. I was hoping to find some new information about the new release, but all I find is different classes measuring their guns, again. :confused:

    I never made calculations...but if you insist... there you go:

    that is addition

    10% more than the initial value.
    that is:
    with Charged Lightning - 44+10%=48.4%
    With Charged Lightning to electrified opponents - (44+10%)+33 = 81,4%

    Chain of Lightning (the original skill name) is a supportive skill not a main damage dealing skill.
    You electrify and stun the opponents and then execute the Lightning strike for 250+33=283% base damage.
    That is called False Memory Syndrome.
    The original effect was
    could hit more than 3 but it was using mana.
    Then it got changed to
    which is a boost not a nerf ...because you can spam it endlessly .

    You don't need calculations because you are forgetting what you were saying previously
    So I answered to you ... for SW from scratch to level 40.
    You are comparing endgame characters which can't be compared because it depends on the amount of time/effort spent playing and/or invested $$$
    and higher damage doesn't mean faster kill it depends on the skills as well.
    There you go ... a video made long time ago ... when i was creating new SW every 3-4 days and leveling them up to 40+ with no gear.

    ΣMiwel, the SW was NEVER nerfed. trakilaki is correct.
    I suppose you mean that the ranger's skills are not stopped either when he dies, just as SM too. Name to me please one. There is none! With the SW you said one by yourself, so you prove the point that trakilaki was making.
    The resistances was never down. The monsters became stronger and the turret is a turret and not a guardian.
    The chain lightning was hitting 3 enemies, it didn't get nerfed. The other was a bug and its fixed.
    What do you want? A chain lightning that travels to all the enemies among the whole map? Maybe to the next map too an even the boss as well?
    The other classes got nerfed and the ranger especially gets it all the time. From the other hand the SW gets pushed up. Small example when they ''corrected'' the formula for the minions, the increased the damage of the fire guardian, meaning while the turrets, the wolves/tree etc got nerfed, the fire guardian for the SW got more damage. Is that the improvement of the other classes and not the SW? As for the HP etc, the SM has the same with the SW over the gems that you say. RA is a little higher as he is a melee fighter as well (if that tells you anything) and the DK has little bit more that all the rest as he needs it. Melee fighter that stands in the front protecting your st.... uhm protecting the team to make the damage. It's perfectly fine and logic. What do you want? SW is a machine killer and you want him to be a DK,RA and SM at the same time? GodMode anyone?
    Yes the RA needs improvements, not nerfing that comes again. On the other hand, SW does needs to be nerfed severely! Compare to the other classes, he stands high on the damage and everything else. Q8 set has to be nerfed and balanced, as it is ridiculous to spam the entire area with ice missiles and nothing can pass, the Q7 set has to be nerfed as it's the only class with 9 seconds buff and not 3 or 2 that will be the ranger now, but hey, I forgot... The SW never gets anything. Poor you people. I really feel for you...*sarcasm off*
    By nerfing the Q7 set even more for the ranger, they can simply take it off as it will be even more useless, or better say take the ranger off from the game? Fits on you?
    By declaring that, tell me something. Can you name and prove with announcements the nerfs of the SW? I bet not as there was NEVER any.
    SM dies fast, ranger covers a great area? With the straight shooting arrows? *facepalm*. Dk covers great area too? *facepalm*. With standing in the front fighting as melee the enemies around him. SW? Nothing I suppose as they are useless. With skills that can target and hit everywhere. Are you sure in this game and not another one that looks like DSO?
    Sorry, you can't let the rest values alone. That will give you wrong numbers, and as you know in a function you can't leave some values alone just to simplify as you will get a false end result.
    With that little % making so much damage? WOW! And why then the rangers are not using it? They are stupid or something? The hunting trap with more % gives less damage that the scatter shot with less %. That's something new.

    People you have to understand, and you the developers. SW is a supporter class. SW is not a dk nor ranger etc.

    And for the end, apply some nerfing finally for the SW. All that Q8 set, Q7 set etc destroys everything. Make the 9 seconds down to 2 as the ranger, change the Q8 set as it is ridiculous with 0 mana cost, with 0 cooldown time, to spam everywhere and endlessly ice missiles, while for all of you the problem was the ranger that needs a net to hit an enemy so he can spam the EA for 3 seconds as it will be until the new release comes on the go, fix finally the mind control as well based upon the description ''when you successfully mind control a foe'' and not to work anymore by mind controlling an enemy with immune, because immune means unsuccessful mind control and therefore the skill should NOT apply.

    I can say even more things but then I will have to write more and more and the text will be few pages.

    PS: Make the SW to feel the nerfing as well!

    I think SWs shouldnt be complaining about anything now. This arrow explosion mod will be only for their and the dwarves advantage.

    Right now the exp.arrow is useful cause it reaches far by its explosion. Its a little addition rang to the base attack range, which i guess the same for all ranged classes for the direct shoots ( except 1H guns).

    After this change the dwarves will still have the turret attack range with the addition of the active area that is aprox. 1/3 of the main range.
    Mages also benfit from this cause all of ther skills has a huge hitbox which also adds some exra range to their base attack range, not as much as the dwarves has but still will be unavailable for the rangers to hit them while they calmly spams their missiles or fireballs with meters of range extension. Im not even talking about the chain lighting which jumps warther if it hits something on the end of the base attack range possibly 3 times. So where is the ballance in this?

    Iunderstand that the exp.arrow is annoying, and should be modified, but all the above mentioned should be modified too.

    And not to leave out the knights either: Why they are still able to heal themselves in the arena endlessly?
    Whouldnt be a symple task to put a buff (debuff) on each characters that enters the arena which wouldnt allow to heal more than double of their life points? It would solve this endeless mess thats running long ago...

    Here comes the best part :D :D
    You can kill the boss by clicking the cauldron
    Then you can summon it again for 200 woods
    Then again for 500 woods
    then again for 1500 woods


    That is maximum of 4 kills per scroll. You will need 50+200+500+1500 = 2250 woods ... and since the buff will probably be gone after the second kill (especially in higher difficulty) you will need to spend at least 50 more woods.
    That is 2300+ woods for UBER USELESS items.

    Devs ... you didn't have to rework the event ... because it was crap then it is crappier now!
    You actually think someone will play this crap and spend that amount of wood for these items? :D:D :D

    And where can we find that woods?
    Every run I drop in total 8-12 woods (same number in normal, painful and excruciating).

    BUT....I suppose that boss don't drop white/black flowers...so where we can get that
    considering that now flowers are "money" and have a "place in new sack".

    Well, at least we have auto pickup now... and other modes... and bigger drop stacks. And... Well, 3rd time is not the charm.

    Anyway, you said the blossoms from the queens will be removed... So why occupy 2 slots for them in the currency bag? Unless that is a feature that has been ready for a long time but they didn't feel like releasing it... But they wouldn't do that, would they? :rolleyes:

    I bet it can't get any worse than it already is.

    About the NERF of q7 set, can we please forget for a moment the "other classes are better" fight?

    We need to stay unite and let them hear our voice.

    I agree with Trakilaki when he says game balance can't be achieved by one set, but this is the game at the moment and I can't see getting any better (the useless New moon set is already out of the game if it remains as it is in the test server).
    We can wait forever for Bigpoint to balance this game and give a PVE 1h build, and guess what? We will just die of old age.

    So we must stand and not let this pass!
    What is the reason of this NERF?

    They put the q7 set, then the Bellicose set, they see our damage getting higher and then they decide to steal from us, NERFing the q7 set.
    It is not for balancing the game, the only reason for this NERF is their GREEDINESS.

    They want to balance the game? They can step up or making better sets!

    It is clear as the day, they want to lower our dps in order to push us to buy more essences.
    Bigpoint do you really think an ANGRY customer is a good customer???
    and will he be willing to pay to see his efforts (and money) wasted without a reason other than your GREEDINESS???

    When will most of the players wake up. We all complain BP does not listen to us and then everyone cries that the other classes are stronger than me and need to be nerfed. There is currently a thread in the forum headed SW need nerf. Every class has had someone say that they need nerfing, so BP listens and to balance game and to listen to customers a class gets nerfed. That class then complains hey I just got nerfed so all the other classes need to be nerfed so the classes are balanced. People stop asking for others to be nerfed and start asking constuctively how a class can be improved. When all the whining about nerfing others stops maybe the nerfing itself will stop.
