Ranger: 1H vs 2H Weapons

    Greetings! I recently got back into the game after a 6(?) year hiatus. For sure a lot has changed. What I want to know is for PvE, is it better for a Ranger, or any class for that matter, to have two handed weapons or one handed weapons? I like the attack speed of one handed weapons quite a lot, but the damage of two handed weapons is tempting.

    Oh, I am not level 55 on any of my characters unfortunately, so I'm asking so that I know which will make the leveling process easier. I also am not in a position to spend any money on the game, so I'd rather not have suggestions that for one reason or another require a premium account. (The only premium time I get is from bonus codes)
