    Hi,
There is currently a bug(?) with rangers arrows which has been around for quite a while now.
It works like this; when there are 2 or more attackable characters (players/mobs) standing very close to each other and a ranger shoots an arrow in a way that hits both of them, the target at the front (getting hit by the arrow first) gets hit twice. The one behind/at the back still receives only 1 hit.
This can be seen easily when the ranger has the talent active to hit through marked enemies.

The same effect applies to large groups of mobs standing close to each other in a line etc., as all the marked mobs in the path of a green/yellow arrow will be hit twice. The very last mob is hit just once still. This double hit also happens sometimes when a target is standing very close to a wall.

This isn't a graphical bug, the target has two damage calculations done on them allowing for massive damage output advantages. This is an unfair potential advantage in pvp as two players running next to each other can be taken down extremely easy (the front player at least).

    Thanks

This couldnt be intended as an effect from that Level 5 talent, because its extremely OP when you think about it lol. It also mentions nothing of the double hit in the description if it was intended.

Sorry to all the rangers out there who will hate me for exposing this bug lol, but it's in the interest of balancing the classes and removing bugs.

It also does that if the monster/player is next to a wall

Balancing the classes, suuure... It seems to me you have some personal spite. TBH, that very 'bug' is what makes Rangers even moderately useful in PvE. Were it not for that, they would be pretty useless considering any other class offers more for a group. Besides, how many times are 2+ people immediately next to each other and marked?

Personally, I think that 'bug' should officially become an aspect of Ranger's gameplay, rather than be removed.
