    What would be the best items(for every slot weapon and quiver included) for a level 45 ranger ?(uses shortbows)

    Opinions vary which is the fun of the game. Wouldn't be fun if there was one perfect set up and we all ran around like little clones. In addition you will likely get people to tell you what they have as gear since everyone thinks their set-up is the best.

    Build your toon, things will change over time and new gear will come along that makes some items better than what we already have out.

    It always kind of makes me wonder when players come on to ask what is the "best" set of gear for a particular class. Seriously? Why even bother playing the game if you're just going to carbon-copy someone else? Just give up and buy your character from one of those Korean bootleg outfits - and use a bot to play for you instead of actually doing the work of clicking the mouse and pressing the buttons. (Yes, I know both of those ideas are against the ToS. I'm just trying to emphasize a point.)

    Really, though, what's the point of playing a game if you don't figure out anything for yourself?

    If you want some IDEAS, look in the Ranger Class sub-forum (on this forum). There's a thread titled "Showcase Your Ranger", or something like that. You may also want to check out the DSO wikia (Search: Ranger Unique Items). Figure some things out for yourself sometime - you'll learn a lot more that way.

    lol clones,we r clones in all these games,i seen 5 of me of the other day.

    looks like alot of selfish ppl out there dont want u to have what they have,but its in the game so ya we r all going to be clones eventually.
    myself,i keep 2 sets,1 for power and 1 for armor n hitpoints if that helps,,u need both so keep ur stuff.
    so keep 2 bows and adapt to ur situation when need be.
    wonder how many ppl have the same gear other ppl have? haha
    clones.makes me laugh :p:p:p:p:p:p

    Ending up with similar stuff is natural. Bypassing the journey to get there is not.

    I guess you can eat a fast food burger - or enjoy a nice juicy steak cooked to perfection. Either one will fill you up, but one of them is more enjoyable.
