realm path to event not received

i was reading about the bugs to Desert of Essences, and it said you have given 12 realm path's 3 to each player, but it has not worked and i got 6x path's to one player and none on the rest.
i dont want you to look deeply into this bug and id like to thank you for the 6 realm path's i received on my new ranger. but i think its likely alot of others received nothing as i only activated this from reaching level to get quest of the day and sign bonus..

This is DSO, world-class good intentions and lousy delivery.

 

You have to have done the event on all 4 toons to get 12 paths. It is very likely you have only 2 toons that did the event when they handed them out.

 

Where did you read that? It is for every character that had some progress with the event before the script was released.
If you didn't get 12 probably because you didn't play with 2 characters.

 

no i made a new toon and he got all 6, should have been 3 on each to make 9,
im not mad though my ranger now has very nice boost with magic essence set
happy days..

 

Whichever character you log in with first geys the gift boxes. However, the 3x paths aren't put into the character inventory until you click the checkmark. What you should have done was for character 1, click on only one box, click the check (at this point character 1 gets 3x paths), leave the second box alone, then switch to character 2, the gift box should reappear, and then you click the box and check, and character 2 gets the paths.

Alternatively, send a detailed request to support, and they may be able to help you. Its probably too late now, but in the future, its usually better if step 1 after an issue is to send an email to support rather than a message on the forum.

 

You can select to accept the "compensation" all on one character or a bit on each of your characters. Your choice. It is not a bug. Answered.... closing.
