Reasons for botting

    okay, walking on thin ice here, but just have a try on it because I think this IS new content.

    We are always talking about banning bot users. But I never read a truly conversation (and in particular no reply from a dev or mod) on why people start using a bot.

    Main reason for it is that there is too much grinding in this game. We all hate to farm 20 min for 7 realm fragments so we can enter an event map. We all hate to kill that spider 20 times just to see nothing worthfull has dropped.

    For me the existance of botusers is proof that the game mechanics are not good. Make playing the game itself enjoyable without having to farm for hours.

    If a bot can 'play' the game, the game is too lame. Increase the difficulty so bots are killed and real skills are needed to survive. Reward people by killing bosses which bots can't do. Reward people by doing real quests which bots can't do. ect ... ...

    agreed this game has too much long repeated boring tasks with so much useless grind with no rewards for all the effort and time.

    Agreed. Game mechanics are lacking. A.I. is non-existent. Grinding takes way too long for little gain. Game needs an overhaul. Oh, and don't forget the annoying bugs that they can't seem to correct, on top of all of the above.
