Release 121 [Feedback]

    personally, because of lack of time, I made only about 20-30 mortis' during this bug. But one thing. I guess everybody noticed, that when this happened, everybody just started playing and farming like crazy. Isnt that what you want? everybody to farm, play more? I would gladly pay (but I don't :D) for a lot of blue ess to save some time farming during things like that.

    And one more thing. did you notice that when bug is really bad for us, I mean REALLY, they take it 2-3 weeks , or even a few releases to fix bug, for example not getting anything when my tree kills a mob or my thicket of thorns. But when something good to players happen, they fix it immediately, to be exact 24h after they spotted the bug... Just a thought...

    Talking more about release, I like the option to hide the name, but keybinding seems worthless to me because I got used to old layout :)

    Did 121 screw up gear drops? I swear, ran OoB yesterday evening SOLO, got 3 green items from the whole area killing EVERYTHING. Ran it this morning SOLO, got 6 green items killing EVERYTHING.
    I have to agree with more and more posts regarding devs and their lack of competence in creating patches and their competent excellence at bugging the game more and more with each and every patch.
    I could care less about the Mortis tweak, that was a gimme. Noticed the EU servers got 2 full DAYS of it while the US servers had the after midnight hours when sane people sleep. But Germany/Heredur you make the connection.
    The fluff in 121 is useless. Different graphics big deal. You make us grind endlessly for very few drops for gear that is mediocre. Hotfix frag drops for all the crap you are making us farm for. We'll never get max stat gear...EVER, so make the stupid frags for it drop twice as much then.
    You fixed the Thicket, you should have done that day 1 when bug was reported. You released a completely bugged patch and could have hotfixed it right then and there but you chose not to. What exactly is 121 for? Oh, I turned my name off for all the DSO vids and screenshots I plan on not making.
    God this game is really frustrating about 87% of the time.

    I am very disappointed. You stoped the full moon event to give us a garbage release. I feel like we are mistreated even as the ones that pay for your rent food and everything. We should be Treated better. Fix it.

    So for full moon event are the wolves going to be unbeatable ?

    For Sam reason mosters in all q's become more strong,i make the diference before patch 121 was add in game ,after hotfix mosters have more hp in all Q's.
    Maby the bug was intended to make players not notice increase in strenght mosters ...for wath i have seen they have 10% more hp now.
    And yes another good thing after 30 + times M2Q6 i din't get not 1 Pink-Legendary drop from normal mosters ,it seems they lower drops Again :D
    Sooner or later we gone farm M2 for 1 drop of purpel intem.
    Don't worry u shuld all say Ths to thouse booters becouse of them they lower drops every time and best part BP don't permaban all botthers and bring back the old good drops,they choise to lower drops for everything and keep botters .
    Go to Asharia and u see there is full of botters ,stai there 10 mins and pay atention to wath Npc each caracter go after u start to understand that sam of them keep doing same things over and over again :D

    hmm... i was wondering all day is HOD harder than usual. All guild mates said same thing and all said that monster were stronger by having more hp. maybe you are right :)

    I've noticed no major difference in difficulty while soloing HoD. If there really has been a change, it wouldn't seem too hard to investigate. If the HP have really been raised, there is probably some video evidence (monster bouncing - shows % of HP regenerating) from pre-R121 somewhere on YouTube. I don't find it difficult, so I'm not inclined to do the research. However, if anyone is so inclined, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

    Edit: I decided to go look for the info myself. Look at this video (from R116, thanks Perrush :D )
    Examine time point = 3min 10sec. The ghost that bounces there regenerates +951 HP/pulse. I went into HoD, just now, and bounced a ghost. The result was +951 HP/pulse. There has been no change in the HP of mobs, only a perceived change because everyone had it easy for a little while. Toughen up and fight :p

    I'm not the smartest person in the world but neither am I the dumbest. For you to tell me that monsters are as they were prior to 121 is baffling. Completely, totally and utterly baffling because unless you've been sleeping this whole time I think you know better. If the HP hasn't changed then the quantity has or perhaps my weapons have lost some power. Something has changed, no if's, and's or but's about it! I can't believe that's even disputed. And as far as your theory regarding our perceived change because we had it so easy, I was in PW less than 5 minutes during this time, hardly long enough to grow accustomed to anything. And I'll end this post in the same insulting fashion you ended yours, wake up and pay attention.

    There is no difference of strength of the monsters. I used 450-550 blue ess per 5 knights kill and still same now. Have been doing m2 solo for months before you ask it.

    Just because they weaken for sometime makes you think they are stronger when they back to normal.

    Mobs seem to be back to normal, not stronger and not weaker. I've been farming PWs for more than a year and would notice a significant change in squishiness of monsters 8)

    I suggest you read the two posts after yours. Apparently, not everyone agrees with your "rock-solid" logic. I presented evidence that the monsters are the same in HoD as they were before the R121 hotfix, but you chose to side-step it with your own theory that has no proof and only your feelings as "evidence". No insult intended here, or in my previous post. The fact that you chose to read it as an insult is not my problem.

    Hi guys,

    Well that depends on which lvl your character is.
    I have a DK lvl 45, with which i stopped playing because the PW is insane to do solo.

    So i started to play with my SW lvl 24 (now lvl 30)...1 month ago my base damage was 192-220 at lvl 24 with knowledge tree at lvl 30, now at lvl 30 it's 383-418.
    I killed many a Dragon-brood Militarist lvl 28 at "Fortress Teganswall"...

    At lvl 24 - 3 to 4 magic missiles with blue ess:)
    At lvl 30 - 2 to 3 magic missiles with blue ess:( (how is this possible):confused::confused::confused:
    I raised 6 lvl's and doubled my base damage and for what???

    I believe that BP has put a damage limit to our characters, so low lvl characters can't farm higher lvl's for glyphs + the very low drop-rate of colored items.

    Well...this is just my opinion!!! fact or not, at lower lvl's the PvE game has changed, at lvl 40/45 don't really know, so i won't comment!!!

    You all claim that monsters are not stronger then they were before r121 bug, and you talking only about HP.
    What about monster's attack?
    Before r121 I could kill Knight mini-boss without need to spawn tree for healing.
    But now it is almost impossible to kill him without spawning the Wood Wraith for healing.
    And my gear is the same (if not better).

    I can't think of a way to prove that one way or the other. If it is true, unless someone can prove it, it'll probably stay the way it is unfortunately. I haven't noticed any difference in their attacks, myself, but my defenses are very good.

    You may have heard the phrase "Perception is reality," before.
    There are people who perceive a difference. Because they perceive a difference, they believe there is one. And their beliefs become their reality. It is now harder for them because they have psyched themselves out. As you said, unless they have an empirical way to test and prove that there was an increase in armor or defense, they will remain convinced of this perceived change while players like you and I see no difference from before and remain playing PWs as if nothing has happened. Personally, I have been soloing Cryps/Cata to finish my remaining 15 medium frags. I have experienced absolutely no change in difficulty in any of the Mini Bosses there. Before R121, I had killing all of them down to a science and knew exactly how much effort it should take to kill them (plus or minus a small margin accounting for the randomness of critical hits) and nothing has changed now that they corrected their bug.

    I agree, Bara. I have detected no changes, offensive or defensive, to PW mobs after the hotfix. Good luck to those who think there have been changes (trying to get them reversed, or whatever). For me, I think it's time to move on from this topic.

    have you read other forums ? so many people claim that mobs are stronger or have more hp in fact they have
    this is a bug or intended hidden update .
    for sure problem exist and it has been already reported
    I remember when map 1/2 of q6 both weakened for a long time ....
    going back to normal after hotfix was not such a hard work like it is now
    something has changed ,many possibilities
    from bugged maps to bugged skills ... :cool:
    This is scary i would not expect such a serious problems from any well known game developer even F2p

    Great patch, the only error I could see is when you select to not display character name, it immediately comes back and remains if you press Ctrl (show items)

    2 minor preference issues... The shine effect removed from the character screen is too dramatic. While it could have been toned down, it now looks drab, and the nice glint off your weapons and armour is missed. Also, as above, the white orb arrows doesn't look right imo.

    Yes, I read all new posts in all categories. I am my guild's forum rep, so it's part of my job and I take it seriously.

    Believing something and proving it are two different things. I see no difference after many runs in HoD, but that is my personal experience. I know that others claim differently. As I said before, good luck to others in proving your claims. I mean that, because weaker mobs are going to make it easier for me as well.

    No. And no, as far as I can tell in about 30 solo HoD runs, they don't. There's no reason to get upset because someone has a different opinion than you. If you think the mobs hit harder, OK. Make an appeal to the mods, they contact the devs, and maybe they'll change something. Getting snippy with me isn't going to get anything done for you.

    If you think the mobs hit harder then i would suggest that you up your hp and armour lol....
