Do we need an alternative way / better way to convert Sugar Beets to Snow Essences?

Poll closed Feb 27, 2017.
  1. Yes, I've got loads of those beets and would rather have useful snow essences instead.

  2. No. I like the sugar beets and want to save them for next year.

  3. Neither. I throw the sugar beets away, and I don't need/want snow essences either.

We need a new character added to the game: Rudolph.
He has one sole purpose, to convert "
100 sugar beets" to "999 Snow Essences".
( He's collecting Sugar Beets for all of Santa's Reindeer, so he needs lots. )

For February 2017, on all the maps that had the snowmen, here is two ways to work it:

    1. Use the snowman spots:
    a. Rudolph appears at one of the spots.
    b. When you find him, you click on him to do the trade (100 -> 999).
    c. He then "flies" off to another of the seven spots (never same spot twice in a row).
    d. Repeat steps b and c.
    2. Use the whole map:
    a. Rudolph wanders around an area of the map (he walks slower than us).
    b. When you find him, you click on him to do the trade (100 -> 999).
    c. Rudolph "flies" off in a random direction to another part of the map.
    d. You follow in the direction and hunt for him.
    e. Repeat steps b, c, and d.

For December 2017+, on all of the maps that have the snowmen:

    a. Rudolf appears at one of the spots instead of a snowman.
    b. When you find him, you click on him to do the trade (100 -> 999).
    c. He "flies" off to another of the seven spots (never same spot twice in a row).
    d. Repeat steps b and c.

Why I am sugesting this addition:

I have a DK that has some 2700 sugar beets from Dec 2015. I have a SW that has some 2100 sugar beets from Dec 2016 (after trying to use them in farming). I have no use for the sugar beets until next Christmas. I have use for the Snow Essences through the whole year.

I'm in this situation because when December comes, I get massive amounts of Sugar Beets.

    a. If I happen to be playing on a map that also has snowmen, I do a round of quests and manage to hit say 16 snowmen. I get 300 to 600 snow essences (after 16 used). In that time I also get 300-400 sugar beets. Now I have enough snow essences for 1 run at Big Paws. I have enough sugar beets to make 42+ runs up the Winter Summit. And it only continues to grow this way.

    b. If I happen to be playing on a map that doesn't have snowmen (like this year: Stalgard, Stillwater Bay, Frog River Delta), then I accumulated thousands (3K o 4K) of sugar beets. Now I have to farm Snow Essences. I learned/found that a three map run (Wild Forest / Slifmoor / Burning Coast) provided the best farming (each map is a circle from portal back to portal and they can't knock you off) as by the time you finish the Coast, then the snowmen in the Forest are ready again.

Note about method b: you don't get any experience for this, when you get trapped, you have to kill everything to remount your steed, which also takes away from those who are at those map levels trying to get experience.

What I really needed was a way to quickly convert massive amounts of near useless sugar beets into needed snow essences. I did make many runs up Winter Summit, but was always running short of essences (I skipped Big Paws many times cause I couldn't do damage). In the end of December I did almost nothing but farm essences and turned some 2.?K (of 4.?K, SW) of beets into 22935 snow essences. I still have the DK ~2700 sugar beets from last year hanging around.

At least I can use the snow essences throughout the year.
    .

Note to Baragain: I couldn't farm Twilight Downs as all the Lvl 50 people were farming there making it a "death trap" for me (I tried, I died, repeatedly). And Thunder Crest gets so little Exp that it is a joke - and getting sugar beets 10x faster than using them, which defeats the purpose of trying to convert the beets.

    EDIT:
Wow. I really thought I had a good idea. Never thought I'd get so little reaction. Didn't think so many people really liked all the sugar beets that much. :(

My original thought was for Frosty the Snowman, but what would he do with a hundred sugar beets? At least Rudolph could take them back and feed all the other reindeer. I guess Dasher, Dancer, Donner, and Blitzen will just have to go hungry till next Christmas.

    Edit (12/30/2017):
Well, BP did not implement this idea. Nor did they come up with any other way of converting Sugar Beats to Snow Essences. Really wish they would as this year I'm over 7K Sugar Beats and I get them way faster than I can convert them. :(

I was, with my SW/55 and a guild, able to complete all 3 minis this year too. Only half way to the BIG present, and found that most everyone else takes 2 years to get the 1500 coins.
