Running in place

Does anyone else have this thing where you click on a monster, but instead of attacking, you just run in place? I get this with my mage and dk. I have to jump to get out of it. It didn't used to be this way.

 

Yes , that happens at times when you are blocked by invisible stuff. i usually walk a few steps back and it works

 

Support and I have been going round and round on this for a while. Some maps are worse than others.
I think the image for the monster is much larger than the actual target that takes damage. It started with Balor, and has gotten completely out of hand. Art and Programming don't match up.
The obstacles in the instances do not make it any easier, and the discrepancies between mini maps and actual maps are a pain.
Several people have suggested holding down the shift key while you fight. It keeps you from moving. I'd have to re-key most of my 1-7 attacks to let my hands do that, so that is not a good option for me.
Another suggestion is to stick your skill on your Right mouse button. Too bad I use skills on both left and right mouse buttons.

The solution is with Big Point. I don't think they will get their act together to fix it, anytime soon, or ever.

 

Happens to on a steps or any other elevated spot. Very annoying. I have to move to attact by the side of the creature as it hits me.

 

yeah, I constantly get it on steps. also on moon map when I click cauldron to get fairy fire I just run up to cauldron and then carry on running on spot

 

It happens often, even at arena my toon spins instead of steady run, it happens with the left click skill
