saving a game

Is it possible to save a game (right now i see no way to do that beyond just closing it out) in the place I am at, rather than back in my original starting place? Or is this something only reserved for people who download?

 

This function doesnt exist neither in browser nor in client. But I would be very pleased, if there was "pause" function, for example when someone calls me or something like that. But only when playing alone, not with group.

 

You will always return to the urban area (city) you last visited. There's no way to stop that, whether you download the client or use a browser. I think it cuts down on the location data the servers would have to save if everyone stayed where they were when they logged out

 

well that is both a blessing and a curse, since you can close out what looks to be sudden death when the bad guys overtake you--but when you're far from home it can be a pain in the you-know to have to start the trek all over again...but as long as I know its thee and not me, that does help. thank you.

and yeah, "pause" would be a nice feature.

 

The problem is that this is an "always on" sort of game. You can't pause when everything is happening in real time.
