    d4 according to the developers will not be released before December 2021, moreover DSO
    it damages itself with the path it releases and for me
    the real danger for DSO is poe 2 (alpha release in december) not d4. content expansation is the moment of truth for future of dso.

    This has always been a tiny game, in a gigabyte and a half you can't think of having a complex open world. That's the only reason I continued playing it, I didn't want a 40 gigabyte game that keep me attached for the whole day.

    This is fine as format, half hour, maximum an hour per day, and I already have hives. But being so small maps, you have to repeat them many times to make things last. This is understandable, from this point of view developers are like a spider inside a hole, and can't do miracles unless they don't revolutionate it.

    But this is also its bad point: because these people don't like to toil, they never renew enemies nor add new maps, and I end up with breaking the balls. If then the maps are those of the Q, it still bears, but three rooms like those of the present event after you do them 150 times for nothing you just want to destroy the computer.

    Limiting the time players can spend in dungeons would be stupid. The complete opposite is necessary. Players need to be able to play 24/7 for free so there is as much room as possible for them to get hooked and start spending on skins, mounts, event attires and all that stuff.
    Perhaps big games like wow can afford subscription model for example which restricts play time, but DSO is not a big trademark and needs as many active players as possible as a certain % of them are potential whales.

    Plus we already have a restriction in the form of secret lair offerings that limit the number of runs you can do in there; and also keys of prowess; and realm frags. You could make all these exclusive to premium users and only give non-premium players a certain number of these per day. Which would probably harm the overall number of active players.
