    About 1H is another problem with the game, simply no 1H weapon can compete with Q7.

    Equipment like quiver are weak at the moment, they should get a unique value like "+ 20% resources". Also add more base damage.

    The shields are ok, the problem is that they should work like weapons, so reduce damage even with unblocked hits. With a weapon, if impact doesn't work, you're still dealing damage. For example 1/3 of the block power. In this way block becomes more coherent.

    I "update" the list of changes for DK:

    Smash: Change Smash base dmg 200% to 250% (maximum dmg 300%). In pvp it won't be a problem, because IB will be "nerfed". 2 points talent: change "lethal hit" to "critical hit". 300% damage on main attack... I think it's honest. ^^

    Rageful swing: 2 points talent: Each hit activates: + 20% movement speed for 3 seconds. Not stackable.

    Furious battle cry: 5 points talent: restore old 25% cost reduction.

    Iron brown: change armor break in -20% (nerf).

    Charge: 5 points talent: change 2% to 5%.

    Banner: 2 points talent: change -40% movement speed to -40% attack speed.

    Fury of the Dragon: This will give DK a skill with good AoE, armor break. This ability is too weak now.

    - 3x Area of Effect.
    - Duration 4 sec. -> 8 sec.
    - Damage per second -> Damage depending on attack speed.
    - Cool down 1 sec. -> 30 sec.

    3 points talent: armor break.

    The reason why I removed group bonuses is this: only group talents offer group bonus. Banner adds speed thanks to the group bonus.
    There are also other weak talents, however I think these are the most important. About Mighty wild swing, I think it's ok. The only change I would make is 300% damage, but it is not necessary.

    Obviously this is my vision, I invite other DKs to comment. :)

    Instead leave it like now, but make it stackable and remove cooldown, like eg. automated turrets (machine gun turrets) of the dwarf... skills should be diverse and you're just giving properties of singularity to FotD, with the difference being the graphic and one has the dmg and the other cdr... it's not enough of a difference.

    Then add the attack speed breakpoints to it.

    These are ok as a "temporary" solution.

    If FotD doesn't get armor break (like I wrote), this makes no sense.

    Better make it 3% heal for every enemy nearby (up to 20 enemies count).

    Too OP.

    2 points talent - ok. Higher skill damage is not needed if FotD changes are applied (as I wrote above).

    I understand your reasons.

    The change to Rageful swing can go, no problem. For the rest: FotD also needs better AoE. Furious battle cry needs cd reduction. In the past it was nerfed because of the cube set, now it is impossible to get low cd in pvp. A 20% reduction may also be fine. Anyway, anything is better than useless blocking power, even a defensive bonus.

    Thinking back removing armor break from Iron brow makes Iron brow useless. At this point simply removing the critical hit need for AoE effect, even with 80% impact 1 hit on 5 fails. This is frustrating, especially now that armor break is no longer optional.

    No one mentioned Charge 5ts stat nerf time ago (very useful in pve), same as many others during a "DK TOO OP in arena" whining days ...

    I won't comment each suggestion from above, only say that if they revert those nerfs + add passive stackable armor break up to ... umm ... "25% (5% per hit) - last till player dies in combat" for RA&RS (some conditions could be added for diversity(f.e. 5 critical for RS cuz of bleeding effect)) .

    PVE would be playable for DK of any strength then.

    That was just one of several nerfs.


    About your proposal:

    This could be applied on Smash.

    -Basic damage: 200% > 250%.

    -Change talent 5 points: Each hit -5 armor break for 5 seconds, stackable 5 times.

    -2 Point talent: Change Lethal Hit with Critical Hit.

    What do you think about it? :)

    Even if you did this how would its dmg stack? also even if you let it stack to what level will you let it stack?
    Also diversifying builds would not just be boosting 1 skill.
    Also singu got the best of many skills so any skills boost would be copying something from singularity because it has become the all in one skill for mages
    What was taken from dks was not just 1 skill
    What was done with dks made us virtually totally unviable
    Love this ofc
    And I still believe mws needs a boost too.

    So, the most amazing and simple idea on how to buff DK's just crossed my mind. Change the unique value on q7 gloves from 75% damage over 3 seconds on groundbreaker to: 75% damage over 3 seconds on all damaging skills. this effect would stack.

    A dot like that would stack and since its an item other classes would want it too.
    On the other side of this coin yes ailments is supposed to stack
    The problem with your proposal would be this:
    25% dmg per hit at a hitrate of 5 for rage attack and with q7 would be 6 is just insane.
    firstly rage attack would then be boosted to 125%*5 = 625% base per second
    while smash would then be 1780% per second on q7
    since its gloves heck even I could use it
    just that tiny boost would make my rageful swing attain 750% base per second and smash would be pushing 1260% base per second.
    Actually if there was a torso that gives bleed on rage attack too, q4 would actually be OP especially if that bleed stacked it wouldwork in sync with those gloves and not beat q7 but be good non the less.
    Anyways this is just all a dream in dso as we can clearly see they have decided the fate of dk and it is tank only.
    I say that knowing that our resource generation is purely berserker based
    which once again shows the bad decisions made towards the class as a whole

    well then don't make it stack, or make it 15% each second, stack to a maximum of 3, 5, 7or whatever :p but it would be a really fun and justifiable change since the dwarfs also get 3 special bonuses from q7 set

    Q7 is strong, the problem is the main attack of the DK, too weak.

    I repeat: worse AoE dmg, broken armor, and low percentage damage. A disaster.

    Previous suggestions are better. :)

    If you want reworked skills for tank I have propositon. Delete cd reduction on rage attack or double cd for stun skills. DK's always cry about other classes on farm but they have unlimite cd and stuns on arena. Choose one!

    DK needs to stun in pvp, because he doesn't have:

    - Range
    - Spamable moving attacks (has Charge but has 10cd)

    Even with 300% damage on Smash, it will still have less damage than any other class. He still can't win melee without stuns. Which is hilarious, right?

    Realy? No range skills? Charge, jump which do dmg, ground braker and all these skills have in 2-3 rage attack shots after use
    And you probably forget about unlimite healing. Many of DK's hide behind wall and heal with banner. If range class try got that tank they stun/run/use skin and is safe with full hp. If you don't want more cd on stuns better option is delete all healing on arena for any class

    Eheh, we have another one here who doesn't understand the difference between ranged attacks and movement attacks. :D Ranged attacks make you attack safely, for example you can attack a SW in Singularity or SM inside Tesla. Do you understand the difference now?

    DK's only ranged attack is GROUND BREAKER, still slow as an attack and not spam. Strong ranged attacks are EA and FS.

    DK is only better than Ranger in pvp now. And not only DK...

    SM can heal, with better dmg and range. SW has EVERYTHING, except healing (fortunately). Singularity is simply a joke against DK.

    DK has only stuns and healing, stop.

    Of those attacks only Charge is comparable to a ranged attack from other classes, still not spam (which is the problem). And the damage is low compared to FS and EA. If the opponent is not stunned, you cannot be in melee with other classes. Try hitting a Wizard with Smash while hitting you with FS... :D

    And here I stop, I remind you that here we discuss improving DK in pve. Go back to the topic. :)

    Moderator, you can close this thread, if you want. I am no more interested in the original idea, as I am quitting the game after 8 years. Some other games starting today, which are cheaper to play, more quality and .... you don't have to beg months for a simple balancing in a game you can't change classes overnight. The announcement of the urgent introduction of inf5 6 and 7 was the last nail.
    Thank you all for the suggestion, but it's time to go.

    Since the thread has not been closed yet, i'm gonna give my opinion here one last time xD

    So... in one of the latest streams i remember hearing Jesse or someone saying that there will not come a new support class in the game. And that we already have a support class, the warrior.

    Then can you explain me please why the warrior has the worst group effects XD.
    25% attack speed 30% damage and 21% hp that's as good as it gets. all of the 150 point effects from war are completely useless/bugged all the time.

    dwarves have racing the clock and tesla, both OP supporting effects.

    Mages have mana and critical damage, also way better then what the warrior gives.

    Oh and rangers give 21% attack speed, 30% runspeed and 60% damage and crit at the bosses.

    Between all these classes how is the warrior supposed to be the support class? xD it seems to me that all of the ranged classes are there to support a useless warrior.

    Not even mentioning the fact that a warrior NEEDS the dwarf racing the clock effect or he will not survive the most inf4 dungeons/bosses.

    So who is the real support class here Jesse? xD

    Honestly the war could be buffed so easily just take a look at all the ideas from this thread.. or change one of the useless 150 point group effects. OR change one of the useless 300 point wisdom skills.

    DK is not a support class!

    Because simple enough, Mr. Jesse, do a good search on youtube to see how broken this game is.

    The Dk is not essential in a group game let alone where some classes make ridiculous times from the bosses!

    There is no support game because otherwise you would see the advantages that are not there!

    In any case, if you want a support class, it means that the others should not, make a final boss in 30-50 sec by themselves or without this class. Here it seems to me the exact opposite.

    Here I close because I prefer that the damage and defenses of the DK arise rather than a group game imposed.

    Everything will be seen in r231 and if it is worthwhile to continue playing with your product.

    DK is currently the worst pve class. That's all. The history of the "support class" is simply an excuse.
