skiping main quests

Hello everyone!
i've started the game like 5 days ago iam now lvl 37 I've done now all my main quests but now in atlantis I cant do some of the main quests that i need to find things in the open world maps since there are too many players doing the same thing, i tried now for like 1 hour to find 4 stuffs from gorgon warriors and i can bearly kill one of them and that one mob wont drop it, what if i just farm the exp from dungeons and lvl up, like this morning i was lvl 35 and farmed Gorga for like an hour with the exp scroll i leveld up to 37 in no time what if i do the same till lvl 40 ?

so I jsut want to know if its ok to skip some main quests and do them after some time i find it quite borning to walk around the maps :|

also what lvl does PW unlocks and should i do those quests or just hit cap lvl do the dungeon in hard mode?

 

Trust me, I stopped questing at lvl 30 and never came back to it. You can do the quests at any level you want

So, about your questions:

• I guess I know what quest you are referring to and... yeah! Drop from that one is happening, but with low chance. So, do not give up and they will drop
• If there are many players doing the same quest, which is, sometimes, quite boring, have you tried to join a group? Perhaps it's better
• Sure! Gorga is a great boss to keep gaining experience in your level.
• As our friend wrote above, you are free to skip some (or all ) quests and, if you wish, return to them later.
• If you do not have any character else in the same account in level 50, you can only unlock PW maps when you are level 50.

Off topic yes... But you are the first mod here that i have seen actively participating in conversations and answering non-rules/game mechanic related questions... Thank you. I hope we see more mods like you.

Ok back to the questions.

Well if you are having trouble killing the mobs you should take a break from quieting and go farm a boss... Because the quests and monsters associated generally do not give great drops... So you will get weaker and weaker unless you stop and farm a little. Parallel unlocks at level 50... And once you have it you will never go back so I would recommend finishing the quests now if you are planning to finish them at all.
It's totally OK to skip quests... I just use them as a nice source of andermant... (You can get about 19k ander from every quest if you do them all.)
Gorga is a great boss to farm until level 40... Good XP, good drops, easy to kill, nice unique set...but at level 40 the exp starts diminishing by percents until it is almost not noticeable by level 41. You will want to start out in the normal mode until you are strong enough for hard mode. The monsters in Parallel are much more challenging that normal monsters LVL 1-49. Good luck in your leveling.

i just hit lvl 40 by defeating Gorga over and over again got all the set quite nice but low on dmg (im a ranger)
i just finished all main quests now and some side quests too and i just got one bar of exp..
it only took me like 5-6 days to get to 40 so i hope getting to 50 will not take so much time as i really want to check that PW

 

Must say that there is a problem with quests in heart of atlantis. Too many players, some lower % drop rate and it can be annoing...

As all said before... quest gives you money, anders and exp but you can skip them. You are close to lvl40 so there is a group of quest in misty ridge you will have to do since it gives you access to Andrakasch.

 

Beware! You will run out of quests long before you reach LVL 41 at misty ridge... So you will need to farm somewhere... But Gorga doesn't give much XP anymore... So you can either do hard mode or just run around working on the event... Just a little warning.

 

That will be hard to do since its made for lvl40+ .... and he levelup his char in no time.

Yes normal run Gorga dosent gives much exp as Im now lvl 41 I havent tried it in harder dificulty bcz I tried the lvl 35 boss in the snow map i frogot his name but he was killing all of us really fast, i did killed the lvl 30 boss at higher dificulty a couple of times but takes too much time and the exp is not that great.

yesterday i got pretty lucky I won an andermath chest from the jesters got 100k andermath so I decided to also buy one month premium, then i bought a lucky companion chest and got the Ember-scaled Dragonspawn it gives 25% exp I also have the gem of 5% exp so my exp bonus from defeating enemies is quite nice but still my exp bar bearly moves after one run in The Gleming Mountains.
Now i have a few main quests i really hope after these main quests I will get the acces to go in Thunder Crest cuz if not this means im gonna have to do the THe Gleming Mountains over and over again as I cant find anything else to give more exp.

@Play.4.Fun Yes I did level up quite fast but i think im doing pretty good in terms of PvE i have a pretty decent longbow of lvl 39 with some nice stats and PvE its not a problem at the moment
