    Odd, I played TS yesterday and though it says patch 139, I still have CoT's and crafting was free. I too really want to know what changes it will bring to game especially now with crafting costs and what we can expect. Pure farming now DSO, to sell items for enough gold to play?

    Stellar Gold feedback

    In both 1v1 and 3v3, I received a random number of coins (0 or 1) for every victory. I know it's an early version,
    but say it ain't so.
    This would be a heartbreaker.
    [pic shown below is a 3v3 win with 0 Coins rewards, and confirmed none in my inventory]

    Also, I should want to receive Stellar Gold, not be disappointed every time I get it. Right now the chance of Stellar Gold seems to be over 50%. Stop the nonsense, decrease this inflation, make it a much rarer treat, and don't go the ways of the Zimbabwe Dollar. I like to be teased so that the reward is so much sweeter.

    Isn't 133 a pretty low score for a winning side member in 3v3? Maybe the stellar gold algorithm requires a certain level of performance?

    Did you notice any relationship between your score and the amount of stellar gold?

    Haha. yes, I was somewhere between level 8 and 10 for this match, but probably not my best performance *blush*. Even in matches when I had the most kills and 3 round survival badges, I would still sometimes get no Coin. I even looked at level of opponents, and nothing stood out.

    Red vs Blue team also did not play a factor.

    Ran TS with 2 toons. They reduced the drop rate of coins in open world maps so sure they reduced the drop rate of them in PvP. Last stellar gold we were guaranteed a certain amount for each type of PvP, I think the randomness factor is now to give all players a chance to amass coins and stellar gold without having to be one of the PvP monsters who got tons of them from 5v5. Originally they said ANY player in the first Stellar could win a top prize but few weaker players could even come close to keeping up with the strongest.
    Maybe then Stellar Gold is fair now? Idk, my lvl 40 toon got 100 stellar gold from the jesters in 20 mins gambling so there is then that bug for serious P2P to get a lot more stellar gold faster than any other way.

    Drop rate has not been nerfed, but you need to fight mobs or players close to your lvl (-1/+?).

    I beg to differ. Drop rates for coins in open areas have indeed been nerfed and I only ran areas at those toon levels multiple times.

    I think the drop rates are the same a crossed the board as it always has been. I think what we see is different because we don't know the code for the drop rate. The more people that are playing the lower the drop rate that I see. So what I see is not fact only my observation. The "nerf" could come from the popularity of this game increasing.

    Are you saying that the number of people in the game is somehow computed into a mob dropping an item? Hmmm, sounds like more conspiracy talk. Time to get out my rubber chicken and magic 8-ball so I have better luck.

    DSO servers are a dynamic system; it reacts to the number and location of players, and other server issues.

    Maybe the server is like a bus:
    If too many people get on, the quality of service suffers. If more get on, the bus has a hard time moving. If way too many get on, someone gets pushed off.
    Lag problems and poor drops are DSO's way of saying "Too much! More than we can handle!"

    Tried the jesters for stellar gold. You are correct. A serious P2P could cash in on stellar gold with them, but I doubt there are but a few of them in game . And if they think spending a thousand dollars or Euros is worth it to get a prize they could buy for little cash then let them lol. Their stupidity, thankfully it's not contagious.
    You should stop playing Jesters. It's really a rip-off compared to what you spend vs what you win. But it's your choice. GL getting the mil lol.

    Stellar Gold has always been about getting the coins and what's inside them. Even when the sponsor prizes where decent I was never really after those.

    If the coins have been nerfed this will be another non-event for me.
