terrible lag

    I sometimes get lag so bad I cannot hit the mob (even though they seem to have no trouble hitting me). Is there anything I can do to decrease lag?

    Hello Tyndahl, :)

    Here are a few steps you can follow for minimising lag:
    • Shut down all unnecessary resource-hungry applications when running DSO;
    • Avoid downloading/updating applications when running DSO
    • Clear your browser cookies and cache
    • Adjust your game settings to reduce the graphics quality
    • Clear your DSOClient temp folder and files
    Additionally, it would be great if you could run a speed and ping test on your internet connection, and a ping test between your computer and the DSO server that you are accessing.

    it is sooo frustrating..im having all kinds of difficulty getting anything doen ..kicking out every 5 mins is sad...why..i clean computer constantly from this and defrag shut things off..if dev team can check my account ..make sure its running properly ..mann would be greatly appreciated
