    Hi,
As always, video evidence is needed to support your case. Mods can't report this to bp without it.

    Hey there @bloodyneo ,

I tested it and it is working as intended.
As explained by @Zed , you must provide us proofs on that to forward that situation, if necessary.

    Cheers, ;)

if intended is firing in random directions sometimes and not slowing some of the monsters it hits then yes I can confirm that too ;) its been bugged for months now, but I'm sure the random direction of fire has been reported before and never had anything done about it.

So what you're saying is... unless we can provide video proof, because for a bug like this a still picture wouldnt work, Then no action will be taken!!???
Not everyone has... or wants video recording software on their machine. So those who cant, or dont have it, that report a bug... that report will be ignored by you?? not worthy of passing on?? or ignored by BP????

Chill out and don't make conclusions too fast, what he means is that, after being told about a bug like this, we will inform the correct people for them to try and reproduce it, if they can't, video proof would help a lot to see what the exact problem is, but the absense of said video proof doesn't mean we ignore any reports, it just makes them harder to identify, isolate and tackle, best regards.

    Dear heroes,

    Thank-you for your messages.

I will test it so soon as possible. If you are sure that this is a bug, don't hesitate to publish prints/videos here or to the support. Of course, this situation contributes to a fast report. Not always we are playing to test it carefully.

    Hey there,

First of all, as my colleague @Erebus explained, chill out. Before I write something here in a certain way, I think on it.
Regarding your question - totally wrong. If we are here writting with you about this bug, it is because we are interested on that. If I purely want to ignore, I would not answer. So, as all in life, if you accuse something/someone, you have to proof, right? When I want something to be changed, I have to argue, not only how to reproduce it, but, if necessary, recording or making screenshots.

When we ask for more detailed information, it is simply because it would be needed to forward to the right department with the right description. If they have everything right (account details, how to reproduce the error, etc.), they would analyse it faster than without all the information, that was the case.
I asked for more detailed information, just that. I cannot understand why you are so surprised - it has been always liked that. When you accuse, you have to send proofs - not only videos or screenshots, but how to reproduce is always very useful.

Now, as @bloodyneo explained us how to reproduce it, we can forward it with more detailed information and not just with "i just wat to let developers know that the rangers skill thicket of thorns is buged its vanishing quickly after using and it not doing any damage 50% of the times".

    Cheers,

Confirmed, its sometimes disapearing. Sorry, I cant make a video. And on a screenshot some may say I ran away from it

Its happening mostly on uneven terrain (f.e. Q6 first map)

Sorry?? ... Not sure what "Conclusion" You think I made too fast.... And I quote
    "
" You MUST PROVIDE us proofs"

Thats NOT a conclusion on my part.... thats a statement from a MOD!

With how everything around BP/Youzu is changing, and the player base is left in the dark. Wanted verification that this either is, or is not, some new forum/support rule.
If the MOD's post was miswrote, or misworded, then I am sorry for taking it literal.

    Cheers, Best regards,

    Hi @DocWhisky

Let my say it in my way.
"It would be helpful if you provide us with screenshots or videos".
Because in order to report something to dev team, we must describe the issue as best we can. By providing material when reporting a possible bug, you are making it easier for us.
In example, I cannot reproduce and explain this bug, because I am playing a Spellweaver. I have no ranger available to test and reproduce the bug. :)

    Cheers.

    Thanks Mal,
I got the clarification that was needed from Erebus's post, and from Sunlight's subsuquent post as well.:D:D:D
I was not tryin to pick on anyone, or anything. Its just as I stated, so many things are changing.... especially in the information flow to the player base.:confused::confused::confused:
A change in the requirments for reporting a bug could, very likely, happen.
I am glad to know this is not the case.:D:D:D

    Thanks, Doc.

p.s. My 2nd post was just defending/explaining my 1st post, nothing more. :D

Well if you start discussing about other classes, same thing happens with the Singularity and it has been reported so much times... in fact, this bug is present since r155 and its new skill tree. I'm not joking. Of course videos have been made too. I won't put them here, first because I'm a lazy f, second because it's useless when you take in consideration the number of topics about this skill-disappearing bug (with the mage it happens when you clone a skill with mind control), third because this isn't the right topic to post them.

So, some skills sometimes don't work as intended. Nothing new... as some said above, multiple classes & skills are affected. All have been reported many times, some with explanations. Fixes? Who knows, hopefully someday...once they succeed reproducing and working around the problems, I suppose.

Just confirming that I notice this occasionally lately as well. Right now, I'm in the 1st sewer, in the fairgrounds, standing on the grate to the east of the thin alley that serves as a passage in between the two main thoroughfares of the dungeon. Fired Thicket of Thorns at a batch of rats. Cooldown was activated, but the thorns never appeared.

I have trouble with screenshots, but there's nothing much to show, anyway :)

EDIT: The problem doesn't come up frequently, and I use that skill constantly. I'm wondering if it's a timing issue with movement? I had been running away from the pack, turned, fired the thicket, then started using my arrow skills. Maybe the thicket failed because I fired it immediately after turning? Again, the cooldown timer was activated, so I'm not just thinking I fired the thicket but didn't. Also, there were easily 3 to 4 rats in the direct path of where the thicket should have appeared, but none of them were marked with poison, and none blew up when I killed them (within the timespan of that subskill of the thicket), so it wasn't just a display issue, either.
