Tips for stronger character

Well guys, im not a big forum spammer (this is my first post on thisone ), but when i have time at work i do read it.
To be totaly realistic the fact is that DO is a P2W game. Now, if any of you doesnt realise this its your failure.
I have started playing this game kinda like 3 months ago. Now, i am called noob and hacker (and many times worse) just because i kill KOTO's often in arena battles on my novice centurion rank.
I will tell you what i did in the past 3 months (maybe some of you will find it constructive and follow my lead on this ... 2 decades of gaming make me realise some issues):
- if you spend money on the game then be sure you use every bit of it the best way possible ( invest when its happy hour and spend it on the desired stuff when its -25% event for it). I personaly use almost all my adermant to buy gems.
- look around for people who farm an area where you intend to farm (for example Crypt of Kings). Socialize and get some friends with at least 6 levels character above your toon. Go and farm with them and then you dont get exp. Farm until you get the desired stats on your hopefully legendary gear. In the time you are searching for craftable stuff you will gather alot of extraordinary, legendary and unique items, melt them and use the glyphs to strenghten you good equip.

Most important is to be patient. If you go in a battle unprepaired then more then probably you will loose. This is the reason that i didnt joined the pvp fights till i was lvl 15 and had most of my full legend equip at lvl 20+. And there are low lvl characters with sets, items, emotes, mounts from events wich happened one year ago. Dont be surprised if those guys maul you when you encounter them in the arena. I win most of my fights, but there are some characters who kill me with 2 precission arrows (that is odd for me but i accept it ... they can have better gems and gear levelled up to 50 even since the game permits it).

In one sentence: prepare for the battle before you join it!

Maybe it was off topic there, but it was an answer to all those who cry over there because they think that after a few weeks of playing they can compete with the powerplayers who have low level but very strong old characters.
On the other hand its fine by me if you want to organize the forum like this.
